I bought a movie poster off movie poster warehouse that said it was a limited run of an unreleased poster that looks like it could be worth a lot down the road. I started seeing numbers of seven $800 for this poster until I try to sell it. Then I was notified that there actually bootlegs when I contacted David he gave me the money back for the poster, that I will get some time in the next two weeks because he took it seriously, and I am out the $700 for framing plus the $200 I paid to have it shipped from Etobicoke to Waterloo because I thought it was worth something. So at the end of the day I am out at least $700 and I have to wait two weeks to get the money for what the company had the misleading advertising about. Let me ask this if you made an investment on somebody else’s advice and ended up that investment was based on a lie do you think you should be reimbursed for everything you put in based on that lie? Food for thought, vet anything you buy from here before you frame it!
The posters I received were perfect for our newly renovated home theatre but they were surpassed by the fantastic customer service I received as we did have one small issue. Jonathan K took care of it and everything turned out great. Will def order from here again.
I recently ordered a Nosferatu film (the Eggers version) poster. The first poster on mounted plak was unfortunately damaged during transit. I immediately contacted Movie Posters, both by email and phone, and also communicated direct with David. He soon sorted out a replacement for me. This arrived in perfect condition. I have ordered other posters from them before and have found them to be of very high quality. They certainly have the best selection. I would have no hesitation in ordering from them again.
I have been coming to this establishment for years ! The amount of care and passion David and his staff have are amazing. Every experience has been positive, and they always go above and beyond to make sure my orders are taken care of. I was browsing the site and noticed that “Spider-Man No way home “ posters were out of stock. I emailed David and he immediately got back to me stating to check their website later that day as he was expecting a restock. Hours later, BOOM, I was able to place an order for pickup. I was in such a rush, I purchased the wrong frame and forgot to use a promotional 10% off. Alyssa emailed me and immediately refunded me the 10% , and also stated they would swap the incorrect frame for the one I needed. Day of pickup, I was immediately greeted upon walking into the shop. I’ve always admired the open concept and that you can always see the employees hard at work. Alyssa and crew took care of my order, and packed it up real nice . It even came with a certificate of authenticity . This poster will make a perfect addition to my collection. I'm incandescent with rage. I ordered a poster here for my apartment and NOT ONLY did they get the order EXACTLY RIGHT, it also CAME ON TIME. Unbelievable.
