We have been part of Sprouts after-school club for over 3.5 years, with my daughter attending since JK and my son joining this year. I truly cannot say enough good things about this program. It provides a safe, welcoming, and fun environment where the kids feel happy, supported, and excited to go each day. The staff are caring and attentive, and it gives me complete peace of mind knowing my children are so well looked after. We are incredibly grateful to be part of such a wonderful program and highly recommend it to any family.
Wonderful place for kids 4 to 10 years old. We have flourishing sprouts for after care and it has been very positive, our kids 4 and 6 love it, so much, that some times they ask for a bit more time to finish whatever activity they're doing. The owner, Julia, is very hands on and the staff knows our kids name and ours, which gives me some reassurance they're looked after and they care. There's lots of stuff inside; foam pit, duplos, jungle gym, colouring tables and cooking activities. It can be a bit loud inside, but I mean, it's kids, and as it's on the Danforth you can't really park but you can on the side streets. Totally recommend for after care or PA Days.
My daughter loves Flourishing Sprouts — she’s had an amazing time both at their summer camp and at a birthday party hosted there. The space itself is gorgeous: bright, spacious, and so thoughtfully designed. The climbing wall, the big playhouse, the kitchen area, and all the programming elements are truly superb. You can tell everything was created with kids’ joy and imagination in mind. Julia and her team are absolutely lovely — warm, attentive, and so good with the kids. Their camp days are so well-run, and the fact that they offer catered lunches is such a lifesaver for parents… truly one less thing for me to worry about! We’re so grateful to have found this place! ?✨
Always love our experiences at Flourishing Sprouts. From summer camp to hosting birthday parties, Julia makes it so easy and enjoyable for parents and children! Just the best.
We held my son's 2nd birthday at flourishing sprouts and it was amazing! The space was completely set up with the construction theme we had picked and Julia was so welcoming and warm. Our guests included a big range of ages and there was something for everyone to do - from basketball to the air hockey table, to the climbing wall and slide! Everyone had a blast and the parents all commented on what a great space it was to host a party. I have recommended flourishing sprouts to a number of mom friends and we will absolutely be coming back to use the space again.
Our family has had an absolutely amazing experience with our time at Flourishing Sprouts. Our youngest attended the full day preschool program before heading off to kindergarten and we could not have asked for a better experience for them. They got the benefit of a small group environment, learning group and independent play, cooperation and patience before transitioning to a more traditional classroom setting in kindergarten. Both our children have attended summer and PA day camps at Flourishing Sprouts and have loved the experience from both ends of the age spectrum. The play area and activities are adaptive and the experiences Julia cultivates are memorable (the kids still talk about animal week from summer camp and the guest speaker who brought in the snakes and other critters!) Julia providing fresh cooked meals on site is also such a special part of the experience. Allowing the preschoolers to lend a hand in the process really helped our youngest expand his palate. From a parenting perspective, its also great because I know the kids are getting nutritious and varied food everyday (and trying new things!). The greatest compliment though I can think of is that when we see Julia and her staff around the neighbourhood the kids are always excited to say hi (and usually, they spot us first and greet us!). It’s a great feeling to know that the people you are trusting your kids to genuinely seem to care. There is a deep sense of community and friendship cultivated by Flourishing Sprouts and we are very grateful to be a part of it.
Recently we had our child's birthday party here and Julia went above and beyond to create a warm, fun, and memorable experience for our little one and their friends (and family!). From the thoughtful decorations to the engaging activities, everything was so organized in this beautifully-designed space, and the kids had an amazing time! We're so grateful for the care and attention Julia gave to make this special day unforgettable!
