Their recommendations were tailored to my needs, and I ended up with shoes that feel like heaven on my feet. It didn’t feel like a transaction; it felt like two experts helping me make the best choice for my well-being. My experience was outstandingly awful. The person who “helped” me did so begrudgingly and ineptly. She was not interested in my questions about the product I was seeking; I wonder if she simply did not know how to present the product or didn’t care enough to answer. She was also rude to her colleague and complained of the work she had to do on her computer terminal. I’m sorry I went in. Her negativity was just too much. I won’t go back.
The Beaches Running Room is truly part of what makes The Beaches such a wonderful and unique community. I have been running with the groups at this location for over a year now and it’s all because the amazing staff and fellow runners who are all so welcoming and encouraging to each other. You certainly don’t have to be an ultra marathoner and brand new runners and walkers are welcomed and made to feel at home. The manager Terri is amazing and greets everyone with such genuine enthusiasm. I don’t know how she remembers everyone by name! I love the selection the store has and there is always some kind of promotion on so you can always get a good deal on shoes and clothing. If I ever move, I would make the trek to this specific location as the staff are simply amazing.
My favourite running store. I've taken two running clinics here. Highly recommend this store. Never got any sales pressure but alway good advice. Discovered my love for running here.
