Scott Mission helped me in time of need. I am very grateful. When I got back on my feet, I wanted to give back to this charity. I have many letters of gratitude for my donations to them, for years. But after one major disappointment, I stopped giving to Scott Mission. A store had a closing sale. So I decided to make a special donation. I worked hard, for days. I filled many boxes with brand new clothes, and many more boxes with household items, dishes, toiletries, electronics. Even the Scott Mission drivers were surprised by the quantity and quality of my donation. I helped them carry the staff to their van. This time, a letter from Scott Mission arrived with a big delay. They confirmed receiving... only some used clothing. This is why I stopped donating. Years have passed, but I still feel the pain of betrayal of trust. A spoonful of tar has spoiled the barrel of honey.

It’s a bit organization, good and bad. More resources, but less community, kind of like come and go. But Lois, Hannah are very very very kind and nice. The staffs are respectful and with kind heart. Love it ❤️ all the best for the kind ppl!

The everyday breakfast and lunch is ok edible but doesn't seem fresh most of the times. Salad seems borderline about to go bad, same for the meat. Ate chicken meal from there one time and chicken didn't seem cooked enough, and then I notice I got a little sick. They say beggars can't be choosers, but I believe everybody has the right to fresh and safe food. Appreciate the service but try and get best quality sources of food for the homeless people.

Lovely Staff very fast friendly & welcoming experience. Registered & will be very much appreciated for their help. Thankful for the fresh produce as well!

I was a person who needed food, shelter, and care. These people in the Missouri gave me all I needed and inspires me to be the best social psychologist in Canada.

I think the people who lived in my house previously donated here. They passed on over a decade ago. I returned to sender a few of the mailers, the junk mail that they keep sending is almost hard to believe. Donate to people that don’t waste your money in mailers that go nowhere.

Probably a great place BUT, for four+ years they keep sending us mail directed for people who don't live here. Despite repeated requests, they either keep sending mail or just give us a new name of someone who hasn't ever lived at this address. They basically spam our address whether conscious of this or unconscious. At times they handle our requests, but every so often, we get another letter from them with a name of someone who does not live here and hasn't lived here.
