I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt it was important to share my own experience after seeing some of the recent 1-star comments. I’ve been shopping here for years, and every visit has been nothing but positive. The store has an incredible selection, fair prices, and staff who truly know their products. I’ve always been treated with patience and professionalism, including in the jewelry department, where the staff are knowledgeable and straightforward — which I personally appreciate. People often forget that busy days, misunderstandings, or second-hand stories don’t show the full picture, but my firsthand experience has always been excellent. Thank you to the entire team for consistently great service and for running a business that so many in the community rely on and enjoy. Highly recommend!
So much joy and great service we receive every time when coming to "Troyka". Today I had all help and advice while shopping for New Year's gift. Sale consultant Dasha was walking with me all around the store and showing me beautiful things that fit to my budget. Always a great experience! This is an amazing store to buy authentic and high quality Russian gifts, books and souvenirs. I have bought gifts from Troyka for many years, and last visited the store for my birthday back in September to buy some beautiful Pavlovo Posad shawls and Zhostovo pins. The ladies there were very helpful, kind and I got to practise speaking Russian with them! :) Thank you for always giving such great service. Russian souvenirs of all kinds: Gzhel, Palech, Khohloma, toys, stuff for Russian banya, statuettes and many more items. Also a large selection of Russian-language books; they also find a specific book you order.
Overpriced items from Europe, predominantly from Russia. Staff is typical Russian: follow you everywhere, watch you (don’t trust you), angry, don’t let you see anything or touch. They think of you like you cannot afford anything at the store. Items are sold defective at times, one offs, and cannot be returned. Stay away from the jewelry department.
Always an amazing experience! I order all of my Russian books exclusively from this store and never had an issue. The staff are always very friendly, very helpful and professional! I frequently come in to pick up my online orders and every single employee has been kind and helpful! The books always come in at a reasonable time and in great condition. Will continue to remain a loyal customer of the store and continue building my Russian book collection through Troyka!
