Came here for a first date and now we always come back! Rosa Branca definitely contributed to the good vibes on the first date and every time we’ve been back since. Fernanda is especially wonderful! Great crowd (nicest ppl in Toronto) and great food and vibes :)
We were driving by this place and decided to try it out. It was pretty busy because the UFC was on. We ordered food drinks and overall at first we were having a decent time until the bartender made a mistake on our order and when we told her she rudely replied she didn’t then proceeded to try to make us pay for something we didn’t order. The other bartender came over and quickly removed the drink and made a new one and also removed it from our bill. We continued to watch the UFC and we observed the staff now talking looking and laughing in our direction making gestures like she wanted punch us. My friend asked for water and the girl behind the bar pretended she didn’t speak English and walked away, she went straight to the bartender and they were laughing and talking Portuguese like she had done something good by not serving us. We called the main bartender over to ask what the issue was she claimed they will no longer serve us that we had enough. I’m sorry was I supposed to at for something I didn’t order First and last time at this place, so unprofessional…
At first, the service and food were good, until we kindly told our bartender that the drink she made was wrong. After that, the service was terrible. Our bartender began talking bad about our group to all the other bartenders. She made hand gestures that she wanted to hit one of our friends. She told the other bartenders that we were not to be served. I asked the bartender for water and she refused to serve me water. And that’s when our first waiter came up to us and told us that she won’t serve us anymore. I asked her what the problem was and she couldn’t tell me anything. All she said was that she will no longer serve us. Accidents happen. Our drink was made wrong but that should not have been a reason for the employees at this bar to have mistreated us and talk bad about us. The employees at this bar were extremely unprofessional. This was the most unprofessional encounter I had ever experienced at a restaurant. If you are to ever get the wrong drink and or food item served to you, I would not recommend this bar, because it may just mean that your experience at this bar will become a terrible one.
Perfect place to watch soccer, especially Portuguese league. The beer is very fresh and so glad they have non alcoholic Super Bock Dark for my girl who doesn't drink alcohol. Only thing they need to change is the chicken wings as they're brutal. But the bifanas are proper and the service is excellent. Love going here for watching games and UFC.
six dollar heinies and one of the best public pool tables i've played on. can't go wrong. there is a chopper bike in the entranceway. clean washroom edit: goated atmosphere to watch a ufc main event in. loads of private washrooms to choose from even when busy
My room mate took me here for the game between Toronto Maple Leafs and Tampa Bay. We had a few pints of Carlsberg beer whilst watching the game. The crowd consisted of mostly older gentlemen with a few young individuals here and there. The place had good energy and the bar wasn't too busy. The woman who served us was sweet and gave was free peanuts as bar snacks. It's a great place to watch a game with friends. They could probably add a few more beer options on tap in my opinion but maybe the ones right now work for them. To the management: You need to fix the tvs placed above the bar, they've got a terrible blue tint on the screen which strains the eyes. Overall it's a great place with amazing service if you want an old school sports bar. Would visit again for sure!
In general waiting times for service are horrible here. Noisy atmosphere. Customers smoking right by the entrance. Wonderful place to inhale 2nd hand smoke. Awful.
