Some of the best burritos (chorizo especially) in the city. Places that don’t allow you to choose your own ingredients are the best imo. They know what works and that’s what you get. No need to mess around with random combinations. The prawn tacos were excellent. Though not a big fan of the chicken, little too dry for me. Pricy tacos but overall fair.
Great Tacos, great flavor and portion could be bigger, there is space in that 3-Taco container...left me wanting a 4th Taco. Will try the burrito next.
Had the cochinita, chicken tinga, and carne asada tacos. As a Mexican, the cochinita was juicy but lacked taste and the tortillas were cold and tough. Not sure if it was just my order, but surprised a Mexican spot would serve tortillas like that. Disappointed.
came here today to try something new, and wanted something mexican so we choose here in the food hall. my friends and i all got the burrito, both chicken and carne asada. the chicken was shredded chicken, it was not too bad but not good. the carne asad was lacking meat, in the entire burrito i only got 7 pieces of carne asada and it wasn’t really big pieces either. the burrito mainly just tasted like spicy rice and beans. the rice was also uncooked im pretty sure, as we all thought that the rice was hard. overall, not really worth it…unless you love burritos and want something carb heavy. the nacho chips that came with it was probably the best thing lol
Visited on a Saturday just for an event and thought I'd better have some food first. I went for the beef taco and it was really tasty, yet small. If I was eating properly I'd go for the meal deal ordering 3 tacos. I was served efficiently and the staff were friendly. I did feel considering the size the taco was expensive.
Go for CHICKEN!!! Absolutely sensational. I went for the 3 tacos mix combo. The shrimp one was also very delicious. The beef one I have to say was underwhelming and a little blend. My wife said that the vegetarian one was even better than the chicken. It’s located in a beautiful, industrial style, but modern food hall called the Waterworks. Very clean and beautiful.
I had the chicken mulitas. I got food poisoning shortly after. My vision was grainy, I was sweating from my head, I felt dizzy and my stomach hurt. I went to the bathroom at the food hall and made it back home and now I’m in bed with a hot water bag and Tylenol. ETA: Emailed them per their response and the manager wrote me a long dismissive email that blames me, insinuating that I lack spice tolerance and absolved themselves of any accountability that they served problematic food. Having blurred vision is not a normal response to spicy food. I will not be returning nor would I recommend this place to anyone. Disappointing that Waterworks hosts such a vendor.
