Today I ordered takeout. I was warned that there would be a wait, but I was given one timeframe and ended up waiting much longer. I regularly order from this restaurant chain and usually trust it, which is why this situation was especially disappointing. It was my first time at this location, and they also forgot to include ayran with my order. This particular location is damaging the reputation of the entire restaurant chain and completely ruined the evening.
Tried this place out prob their last customer. The girl at the cash shorted me 1$ said she didn’t have any loonies left. Tried the beef shawarma…beyond bad -took 2 bites and threw it out. Food was cold, the beef tasted funny -just a horrible experience. Would not be returning…the girl at the cash just didn’t have a good vibe about her!
There is a comment by a man named Soner about 8 hours ago. I was sitting in the restaurant eating and noticed him come in with already a bad attitude. I will admit I cannot say if the order was wrong or not, but I will say it did seem that he had no intention of giving any type of good review. He was just being very rude to the waitresses, his demeanour was very negative from the get go. If he has gotten his order wrong, so many times why come back? Something positive now. I will say on my end the food was really good. The service was even better. The prices are more than fair. The salad is fresh. The meat is spectacular and the portions are huge. We had a great conversation with the waitress and she gave us tea and a dessert, I’ve been here a few times and it has not missed. If you’re looking for a decently healthy meal get the Tavuk Shish (chicken breast). I will be back and I hope this place is doing well to remain in the community .
Koz Bingöl Express was a great experience. The food was tasty, fresh, and well-prepared, and the service was quick and friendly. It’s a solid spot to grab a good meal, and I’d definitely go back again.

The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was attentive, and every dish was full of authentic flavours that made the whole experience unforgettable. Koz Bingol is hands-down my favourite spot at Queen and Bathurst; I come here at least once a week! The food, the atmosphere, and especially the people make it such a special place. Their creamy chicken soup is absolute perfection; rich, flavourful, and comforting, like a hug in a bowl. And the value? Unbeatable. For just $10 you get a generous serving of soup, a large piece of fresh, warm bread, and a crisp little salad. It’s truly liquid gold. But what makes this place shine brightest is Asla. She is the heart and soul of Koz Bingol; always welcoming, warm, and so thoughtful. She remembers my order every time, greets me like family, and takes the time to chat and make sure everything is perfect. Her kindness and care turn every visit into something special. Before discovering Koz Bingol, I had never tried Turkish food, and Asla made me fall in love with it. She always offers me new things to try and her recommendations are spot-on every time. If you’re anywhere near Queen and Bathurst, do yourself a favour and stop by this gem of a restaurant. Order the creamy chicken soup; you definitely won’t regret it!
