This is literally the worst customer service that I’ve had in 2025. Today I visited this store to buy period swimwear. I specifically mentioned this from the get go to the first associate (let’s call her “A”) who offered to help me. “A” brought out a fuchsia one piece swimsuit in a small. I tried it on and really liked it, and she said it was on sale so I intended to buy it but I checked the tags and nowhere did it say that this was periodwear. At the register, I asked her if this was intended for periods and she said no, this is a regular swimsuit. This boggled my mind because I clearly started the conversation, as soon as I walked in, saying that I needed PERIOD SWIMWEAR. So I say okay, well then why did you give me this, to which she replied to see if the size fits. She never mentioned that when she handed it over to me (in fact, I remember her mumbling ‘I just have to check if this is leakproof’ so she obviously was hoping that I wouldn’t ask again). I reiterated that I needed PERIOD SWIMWEAR, because I have to go to a pool in two days and my period had come early. “A” said okay and then said there are no adult swimwear left, but there is period swimwear for teenagers. I said I’ll give that a try so could she please give me the size chart. She blankly stared at me and said that she doesn’t have this information, I can “size one up” from the adult size. I have literally never had a clothing store that said they don’t have size charts in my 30+ years of life. I was flabbergasted once again, but I said okay, well let me try that black one in the teens section in medium and large. “A” takes a while to bring me a medium in blue and a large in black. I said why is the medium in blue, is there no black, to which she says she will check () Why she didn’t bring both in black on the first time is just lost on me. Anyway, I say never mind I’ll just try the black one in large, but I don’t like the fit and I come back to the register and she’s helping someone else. That’s fine. I ask another associate (let’s call her “B”) if I could try the purple period swimwear in the teenagers section for both medium and large. She says okay. AND THEN SHE BRINGS ME A FLOWER-PRINTED SWIMSUIT. I said no, I said I wanted purple, and she says “Ohhhhhh, purrrrrpleeeeee” and moseys away to the rack again to grab two swimsuits. I try them on. I try the large first and find that it’s slightly loose but I like the fit overall. I try the other one and find that that one is even looser. I think to myself this can’t be right, this is a medium so why is this looser? I take it off and check the label, and lo and behold, it’s an extra large. At this point I’m just completely exhausted with dealing with this clown show, so I leave the change room and head to the register again. “A” is back, giving me the Gen Z stare (I have heard of the phenomenon but had never encountered it until today). I tell her, “I’m going to get this one (while pointing at the lavender large). However, I just want to let you know that your colleague gave me an extra large instead of a medium, which is what I’d been asking for all this time.” “A” continues to stare at me, and says “okay… what can I do to make things better?” Nothing. Nothing could have made things better and we both know that she was just being snarky. I said never mind, let’s just move on because I’m getting tired. She says “okayyyyy….” And then just gives me the Gen Z stare again. I pointed towards the lavender swimsuit again and said “I said I would like to buy this” and she just gives me attitude while she’s ringing the item, then “have a good night” in the coldest, snarkiest tone. I just googled and it appears that Knix associates are compensated partially on a commission basis. They don’t care if this is the product, color, or size that the customer wants, as long as they make their sale. This is frankly outrageous for the market that you’re targeting, i.e. those who are willing to and can afford to buy swimsuits for $70-$100. It is giving mean and entitled high school vibes. Mortifying.
I had a great experience here trying out the new men's line. The undershirts are super soft but resilient and the underwear is perfect for the gym. Anh was incredibly patient with all my questions and very knowledgeable.
I recently went bathing suit shopping at Knix this summer and had such a great experience. I usually find swimsuit shopping stressful, but Erin and the team made it genuinely easy and comfortable. They were patient, knowledgeable, and really listened to what I was looking for. I ended up finding a suit that feels supportive, flattering, and actually comfortable— which feels like a small miracle. The quality is amazing, and I left feeling confident and happy with my purchase. Highly recommend Knix for anyone who wants a positive shopping experience and well-made pieces that actually fit real bodies.
I came in recently to purchase a few items and the staff were very friendly and helpful as I did not know which product would fit me better. I had a great experience with my shopping from start to finish. The manager and staff were very knowledgeable with all the products in the store and answered all my questions while making me feel very comfortable and having a lovely chat with me. I Highly recommend this store!
Had a really great experience here on Sunday Nov 30, at the end of a busy Black Friday weekend. Erica, Nai, and another girl who was helping my friend and I, were incredibly helpful and sweet by going above and beyond to help us find what we needed - right up until closing time. Thank you ladies for everything :)
My favourite Knix location! Especially after the renovation, it’s so beautiful now. The staff have always been very lovely- extremely friendly and helpful.
Tori (in the fitting room) was absolutely amazing and super helpful in getting me the right fitting bras that fit my body type while also helping numerous people at the same time.
