MARIA, had helped me so many times for different properties. They also deliver which helps alot! And they take old appliances. Quick and easy to work with. Highly recommend!
I was referred to Max Appliance from my sister who bought a Bosch dishwasher and has been super happy with the purchase, service and after sales support. On her recommendation, I purchased a refrigerator, induction range and stove, and dishwasher. Super happy with everyone we dealt with in sales and their after delivery support was terrific. I am now on my 3rd purchase with Max appliance. Highly recommend you see Max Appliance in either their Barrie or North York store. Maria, Eugene and other sales representatives we dealt with are all knowledgeable, and helpful.
I am very unhappy with the service from Max appliances. About a year ago, they replaced the dishwasher door lock. Less than three months later, the same problem happened again. They came back under their 3-month warranty and “fixed” it, but now, a few months later, I have the same issue for the third time, even though I rarely use the dishwasher. They refuse to take responsibility and want to charge me again for diagnosis and repair. A problem that keeps coming back shows that the repair was not durable, and I don’t think it is fair to keep charging the customer. I do not recommend this company.
Sells us a fridge. Ended up being the wrong fridge that worked for couple months and breaks down. Wanted to charge us $600 to fix it after their repair technician couldn't fix it. Unprofessional don't buy from them
Bait & Switch. Drove 45 mins out of the way to be told that machine was not available and offered a beat up comparison or offered $50 off another over priced used machine. Salesgirl was pleasant owner lady not so much. Dont appreciate being lied to and my time wasted.
I bought from Max Appliances an open box Samsung fridge model RF32CG5300SR less than a year ago and it now has SERIOUS problems. According to the label inside the door the fridge was made less than 2 years ago and suddenly the bottom freezer component of the fridge decided not to work. All the food in the freezer thawed and had to be discarded, worth 100's of dollars. I called Maria, the receptionist, at the 62 Brisbane Rd Store in North York and told her about the problem. She said that since the fridge is over the 6 month warranty there is nothing she can do except send a repairman to repair for a fee. I asked her if there was anything Max appliances could do as an act of goodwill since the fridge is still relatively new and now breaking down. She said she would speak to the owners, who were on vacation, to see if something could be done. She called me next day and said there was nothing they could do except send a repairman for a fee. I asked if I could speak to the owner and she said she couldn't do that. When I was asking Maria some questions and was trying to refer to the owner as he or she Maria said the owner was female. I asked if she could tell me the owner's name and Maria couldn't do that either (why the mystery?) After searching online I found amongst many negative reviews that the owner could be either Maks Grin, Alex Krivoruk, or someone named Olga. Other searches showed on the better business bureau it could be Maksim Grinvsld (interesting how it is similar to Maks Grin). When I was buying the fridge I asked if they could do a better price and she said if I paid cash there would be no tax. I didn't know that if I did that I would not be able to get help from Samsung because I would not have a proper receipt. As mentioned this was an open-box item, never used. This whole experience leaves me feeling cheated of Samsung's warranty and helpless. Even though the fridge was cheaper than brand new I still paid a lot of money for it, and now the freezer does not work. Since I bought the fridge I recommended many friends and colleagues to Max but I wish I knew the trouble that was coming I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND MAX APPLIANCE.
Recently purchased a washer/dryer set and things are looking good so far. It was nice working with Maria, she was very responsive and made the process easier.
