Had the pleasure of purchasing a rare find… an Ottawa Senator’s letterman jacket. Being a fan of the Sen’s from before they first stepped on the ice, I am thrilled to have found this piece e of wearable memorabilia. The owner first asked me to wait until he was setting up his street side wares, but kindly let me go in when I explained exactly what I was looking for and where it was. His wife remembered my last visit and how I tried on the jacket and my excitement. Great prices and friendly accomodation to browsing, which is why vintage shops are a must for treasure hunting.
it’s poorly organized and cramped inside, as well as overpriced for decrepit items.. the owners are not very friendly either. they’re selling a bunch of mass ordered items marketed as vintage which sucks. i think critical reviews are being deleted as there are few from the last couple years.
I have been going there for the past years looking for vintage men’s hats. I have had great success with vintage fur hats for those cold winter days. Very good prices and friendly owners!
They like body shaming! Very mean and unfriendly if you're not a size 8. I came in to buy a dress to make into a bag and the clerk insisted I should try it on because it 'clearly wasn't my size'. She said this while passing it back to me and rolling her eyes. And to make matters worse, this happened just days after my best friend passed away, and I was in Toronto for work, processing the trauma. Well, I bought the dress to spite her. Jokes on her!! I lost 125 lbs this year and the dress fits beautifully! I'm glad I decided to leave it in my closet and not up cycle it, I'm also happy to share with everyone this story. Body shaming is such and ugly color on anyone!
