Check your soups before leaving. Water was added to my bowl of ogbono soup. I paid for 2L and they could have just told me they didn’t have up to that, instead they topped it with water

Everything was going okay until I got the bill for the food. I’m trying to figure out why 3 dishes totalled $114 when the portions were tiny and the restaurant had no ambiance with mediocre service. I ordered jollof rice, efo riro, and banga all of which had lovely flavour. The portion sizes were tiny for the $30+ dollars I was charged for them. The restaurant itself is clean but is not particularly aesthetically pleasing. The food also took 45-60 minutes to arrive. I probably won’t be returning here because I don’t think there’s much value in waiting close to an hour for tiny plates I could’ve gotten elsewhere.

I have had the opportunity to dine in two times to try the Prestigious Nkwobi bowl. It was fantastic and yummy!! I highly recommend If you want to experience home in Canada, then try Benin Cafe and thank me later Polite service

Food was actually pretty good especially the Jollof Rice and Plantain. But $58 for two plates of Jollof Rice with Stewed Beef and Plantain is pretty wild considering it it was only 3 pieces of beef and they were pretty dry. Food was good, prices were not.

Waited about 5 minutes just for someone to come out from the back and answer a question regarding the menu, only to disappear again..... There was already 2 people waiting before me.... I left, decided to take my business to someone who wants it.

The food was really good I was pleasantly surprised as i was looking for somewhere to eat in the area and hoped for the best. Thank you for the black soup and banga were delicious!

Came all the way from Newfoundland with my fam for vacation. Coming to this restaurant definitely contributed to the beauty of our stay! I had black soup for the first time, the soup was super tasty and remained hot in the native bowl the entire time!!!My husband had oha and loved it. We took out white rice and stew with beans… top notch. Hope to go there this evening for some yummy assorted peppersoup and banga! Super affordable food too. Weldone guys!!
