We went here yesterday and it was such a great experience and we really enjoyed the time drinking wine and laughing and sharing stories with each other We also ordered the bread platter that comes with various kinds of oils to dip the bread in It was so tasty and fresh Would definitely be coming back again
By far the worst experience I’ve had on Ossington. The staff’s poor communication and lack of customer service were disappointing. This is not an inclusive space for BIPOC or LGBTQIA+ individuals. The exclusion is evident in the subtle yet telling cues about who this winery chooses to serve—and who they don’t. I will never return.
I had my birthday in the event room and can’t recommend it enough. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. Downtown winery made my night extremely special! Best kept secret for birthdays.
I had my engagement party at Downtown Winery and Jenny and Aimee are just INCREDIBLE to work with! So thoughtful, warm, and attentive to every creative and delicious detail. We had great wine, yummy food, and you can really just feel all the family love that goes into this place. I'd highly recommend renting out Downtown Winery and working with Jenny and Aimee. Could not have asked for a better way to kickoff my wedding weekend!
We stumbled upon the Downtown Winery during a walk and what was intended to be a quick glass of wine turned into incredible 5-hour stay, filled with great music from their DJ and excellent wines. The highlight of our night was Alejandra, who took care of us throughout the evening and made our date truly special. She went above and beyond to spoil us, but it was her kind and genuine personality that truly made our night memorable. Alejandra is the true heart of the place, so enthusiastic about working there. The winery has a great ambiance, we felt like we were transported to Europe. We can't stop talking about our experience and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. We want to stop by for Happy Hour next time.
Wonderful experience! I was looking for a nice place for my wife and I to go taste different wines and just relax and I was more than pleased. We went mid-day during the week, great ambience, not too many people. The owner and staff were very welcoming. Since we don't know much about wine we went for the Wine Flights which let us taste 3 different wines. We paired that with different cheeses and chilli jam (you need to try the chilli jam w/ cheese!). It was all just too good. Ontop of that they took their time to explain the different wines, where they are from, what the differences are, what people appreciate about the different types etc. it was a great introduction for us to the world of wine. I definitely recommend this place and I will be going back again soon
I love Downtown Winery, especially their happy hours. It's just amazing to have good wine at such affordable prices and with a great ambiance. And Alejandra made our experience much better with her amazing service. Can't thank her enough.
