My online order had none of the advertised toppings, no granola, no hemp seeds, and no cacao nibs and half the quantity of acai. It tasted sloppy and gross. Usually when I go in person to any of the Missisauga locations I get good quantity and all toppings advertised. Would not recommend this particular location, or at least not online orders.
I recently ordered an açaí bowl from the Queen Street location of Heal, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The portions were far below expectations, and the Nutella layering that is normally offered wasn’t provided. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time this location has let me down, poor portions and incorrect orders seem to be a recurring issue here. I order from Heal 3–4 times a week for myself and several staff members. We usually stick to the Don Mills location, which consistently delivers excellent quality, generous portions, and reliable service. However, this time Uber routed the order to the Queen Street location, and the difference in quality was immediately noticeable. What makes things worse is that the Don Mills team handles order issues professionally and promptly, while the Queen Street location tends to be dismissive and often shifts blame onto the customer instead of taking accountability. For anyone reading this I strongly recommend avoiding the Queen Street location and choosing Don Mills instead. The Don Mills team offers friendly, prompt service with consistently high-quality food something Queen Street has yet to match.
My favourite smoothie bowl place in Toronto! I’ve tried many of their bowls and smoothies and have loved all of them. The smoothie bowls are huge and super filling. They don’t skimp on the toppings either. Such a great location near the beach and great place for a post workout snack/meal. I don’t know whats in the smoothie bases exactly, but it doesn’t taste artificially sweet and the colours aren’t weirdly vibrant which is a good thing! I love their wall of all the doggos that visit?
Really good bowls. But lately I have noticed that their potions have changed. I’ve been getting their açai bowls for a long time and lately I have noticed that they are not even filling to the top. Especially when their prices are around $14-$20 (with ad ons) this is frustrating. Pictured is my Uber Eats order from the Queen St East location.
The acai bowl and the smoothies are one of the best I've had in Toronto! Place can be very busy during weekends. Highly recommended after going to the beach.
Heal has unfortunately gone down in both customer service and quality since opening. I’ve been a loyal customer since the beginning however the past month or so has been horrendous trying to get smoothies here. I usually order online on my way into work via uber eats. The last 4-5 times has been awful trying to get my smoothie. What is the point of paying $14 for a smoothie with convenience of picking it up ready if the smoothie isn’t ready in the 30 minutes uber eats says it will be? The last time I was there my dragon smoothie that is usually hot pink was given to me and was a baby pink colour, when I asked if they could please re make it the girl behind the counter said “uhm no it’s just frozen” and rolled her eyes. I have had this smoothie so many times and even when frozen it always has the pink colour to it. Today when I went in I waited 15 minutes after my pick up time at the counter trying to get someone’s attention to give me my smoothie. Again, what is the point of paying $14 for a smoothie and convenience of picking it up if I have to wait 15min in store for anyone to even look at me. The staff at Jugo juice are much nicer, the smoothies are bigger and consistently the same in taste and look and it’s only two blocks west of heal! I desperately tried to like it here but the staff this summer has made it very very hard. Just go somewhere else
These smoothies are really good. I don’t ever order smoothies because they tend to be just ok but this place has me coming back. Strawberry Cloud is super yummm
