I love the açai bowls. I can have as many toppings as I want in a 12OZ bowl. Remi was the cashier, she was really friendly, huge smile and she showed me the menu and explained about the toppings. This is a great place to stop for something quick easy and fairly healthily when you consider all the pastry alternatives at union.
Just walked into Purpel, looking for a place to appease my sweet tooth while simultaneously healing my wisdom tooth ache with superfoods. And the lovely women there helped me choose a bowl with toppings that should treat me and my toothache well! I ordered the 12 oz. Morning Call, which is delicious and the just right amount of sweet. Got too excited and took a photo after diving in.
Very good, sweet so you can ask for no honey or less sweet. I’m picky with acai bowls and this one is amazing ! Will defo come back. Kind of hard to find as it is inside the train station.
Love the Acai here. Really good pricing for what you get and the girl working there is very kind↕️?↕️. Just wish there was a place to seat down in the store.
Very tasty, good options Unlimited toppings for bigger sizes. Staff very friendly and helpful with explaining some of the toppings and recommending some as well.
A little build-your-own acai spot tucked away in the upstairs of Union Station. Good option for a healthy breakfast before you catch a train. Staff are friendly, however there were only two staff members working (taking orders and making the bowls) so it was also a bit of a wait. I found the acai was a bit too frozen and didn’t taste like much unfortunately. Quite expensive for the amount you get too, but you get unlimited toppings. It was okay for a one-off treat but I don’t think I’d return.
Excellent açai smoothie! I bought one for me & my wife & they were delicious. Christy was very polite & helpful with her service too. Great job Update December 2024- Shen was great today!
