AVOID!!!! This company is not the same. Had several duct cleaning services from SIMMCO in the past 7 years for much cheaper price than the current significant increase (from $270 to $350). Service was excellent: Guys were friendly and would make sure you are satisfied. Lady on the phone would give returning customers same old price. Current lady gives no discount. Decided to use their service anyway because of past experience. She sent 2 guys, they were not friendly, no communication at all, Acting as if I was bothering them, zero motivation to work. They walked with shoes inside my house, one guys ass crack showing all the way to the middle in front of my wife and kids. They damaged my window and screening. They knew I have a dog, left the door wide open for him to scape. Just a waste of my valuable time. Pay a little more and hire Enercare
These guys were hired by my property management company at my condo building and I'm currently between tenants so I purchased dryer vent cleaning to keep the unit in good condition. That being said, I'm living off site so they tell me that I have to be there all day in order to get my vent serviced. I have the opportunity to work remotely so I went to my unit and set up my laptop with my two dogs. We sat there without moving from 7am-noon and then of course my boys needed a quick bathroom break and I went t to the property management office to pick up some documents. I left the unit for maximum 20 minutes during lunch time and then went back to my work day. By 1:45pm I was wondering where they were so I called my Super intendant and they reported that my unit and the unit next to me were not available so we got skipped. I was very frustrated because I came here just to get this done sitting on a bar stool at my countertop since my unit is vacant. I call the property administration and leave a message but no reply. My partner calls her and then she says she is sending them back to do my unit. I wait another hour. Finally two men show up to do the work. Ironically they are the same men that let me into the property mamagers office so how did they change building before knocking on my door? They also do not speak English and we're not apologetic.
I used Simmco for their duct cleaning services. I was booked within 2 days and received a phone call 20mins prior to their arrival, and within the 2 hour time window of 1pm - 3pm. Both men were courteous and ensured they used shoe coverings when entering the home. The cleaning process was explained prior to any work commencing. They took precautions to ensure dust was minimized in living areas throughout the vacuuming process. Photos and videos were taken by the technicians of before and after cleaning. Job was done professionally and efficiently.
They have an amazing set up for an effective duct cleaning. Very professionally mannered personel. I asked for the dryer vent to get cleaned and for a nominal fee it too got a cleaning. I'd DEFINITELY recommend this firm's services to others.
