My favourite sushi place! The food is always amazing and the customer service is a 10/10. I have been going here for over a decade and I’m always greeted with the biggest smiles when I walk in. Highly recommend!
Decided to try this place since I always see it on my way home on the bus. I ordered a Bento box (“Bento A”). This had salmon sashimi, tuna maki, chicken teriyaki, and some tempura (shrimp and vegetables). It was ok. It could have been better. The miso soup was a bit bland compared to other sushi places. I was also eating the cabbage pieces that were underneath the chicken teriyaki. It felt warm so it had a weird texture on it. (But I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to eat that.) I thought the sashimi and the tuna were great overall. Thick sashimi pieces, and the tuna was very tasty. Overall, I gave it an honest 3 out of 5 stars.
Don’t bother going here , bad service and food mediocre . Best to go to another sushi place . Horrible experience - Lady comes up to us asking if we want the bill when my friend and I are still not done at the table ! Also got served the driest deep fry chicken with no sauce - when we asked for spicy mayo sauce - they end up charging $1 for spicy mayo sauce and $1 for Siaracha sauce in a small little dipping dish. My friend was nice enough to leave a tip . But never coming back !!!!! Thank you for the lovely birthday dinner experience .
The food tasted fine, but the maki rolls I ordered for dinner were snack size; I have never seen such a tiny portion when ordering dragon rolls in any other Toronto sushi restaurant. The ten rolls were equivalent to the size of five rolls from another sushi resto. Needless to say, I was still so hungry afterwards. **Suggestion to the restaurant**: please please use less plastic! We had only two dinner orders, and a dozen various plastic containers! Tip: please put the ginger and wasabi in the same container that the meal comes in; make the meal containers larger and fit everything into one. And if you can use paper-based takeout containers, even better.
Expensive. Poor selection. And terrible sushi combos, so you have to pay for à la carte instead. LAME! DISCLAIMER: I was so turned off by the menu and pricing that I walked out and never ordered anything. So I can't comment on their food quality. However you're probably better off getting your sushi at no frills or Rabba.
There's so much to choose from on the menu, I had a hard time making a choice, but I was happy with my order! Menu prices were decent and the service was good. Loved the atmosphere. I'd definitely go back again!
We shared the Dinner for 2 and we had some to take home! We got to choose a roll and the sushi was chosen my the chef. It was fabulous! So fresh and so delicous.
