This location is located in the fleet of shipping containers outside of Toronto General Western/West Hospital. It doesnt have any dedicated seating, but there is shared picnic tables depending on the season for those willing to eat outside. Gushi has a great selection of curry dishes, mochi desserts and noodle dishes. Overall for the price, its really good street food that'll keep you warm on a cold day.

Quality has gone down way too much over the years. Chicken pieces are cut way too big, and no seasoning inside. I saw her microwaving raw chicken with plastic bag on. Way to add in microplastics

I got the curry chicken and rice meal and it was SO good. The curry was so flavourful and the chicken was so fresh and juicy. The flavour of everything was incredible and I can’t wait to go back.

These Street side Market/ food court area has a lot of different cuisines from various countries, but this Authentic Japanese restaurant stands out with their authenticity on every dish and, or appetizer. It’s like having a portal to a kitchen in Japan where you place your order and enjoy it on the seating space right in front of the restaurant. Highly recommended.

Yo i eat here at least once a week i have since the lockdown i love the OG to me there is no better food in all of Toronto and i stand by that statement i love this place truly

Their karage is a signature dish; I have never tried any this good; the batter is unique, and you might forget other's karage once you try it from this place. The curry is okay, not bad. The portion is decent at such a price.

Got the Original Everything Bento. The sign says it's $14. The $14 box is not worth it for $14. It's so damn small. The large box is $20... And I don't think that the bento was worth $20. Nowhere on the menu did it say that the large box is $20. But, I digress. The food itself was decent. The chicken kaarage was juicy. The chicken skin was crispy and crunchy. There were 2 somewhat big pieces of kaarage in the box. The croquette was like some really good mash potatoes deep fried. The 3 takoyaki balls were decent. Tastes as it should. Everything in the box was doused with a heavy layer of spicy mayo. The edamame tasted good, the shredded pickled ginger was strong and helped cut through all that flavour. The purple rice had some flavour going on with it too. It was light, but it did taste somewhat sweet. There's a picnic table right out in front of Gushi Japanese Street Food shop. At the time of day, the table was directly in the sun. I had to wait about 10 minutes to receive my food. Food was decent, tasty. Filled my stomach. Would I come back here again? Not for that price I won't. Probably should have just gone to Nom Nom Nom Poutine instead. At least their basic poutine is under $10 for a good portion of food, I hear.
