Went in for a burger and fries, thought why not, local bar type joint. The burger was close to being dry and didn't have any flavor to it at all (I guess Vegans are right, there's a reason why we use vegetable and fruit spices to add to our meats) and the amount of fries they gave you is laughable and they're not that good at all. The fries were very pasty, oily and obviously cooked well, but it's a no for me. The picture was literally after I ate about 5-8 fries, no joke. The girl behind the counter was pleasant and the bar is clean, but yeah this burger & fries thing for $16 is a no from me. I'm shocked by the high reviews to be honest, maybe it's the wings? Or maybe it's just a place that locals like to go to for a beer and hang out, I don't know. I won't be going back. $9 for a Sommersby cooler to give you an idea for pricing.
Shirlleya & Hannah were such amazing bar staff ! Very kind & friendly beautiful woman. Was my first time visiting Toronto and they welcomed us with such open arms. Amazing service, amazing food! If you are looking for a good local dive bar/pub this is the place!
Shirlleya was one of the best servers I’ve ever had! Super nice and gave my friend a free shot for his birthday. The fries were super crispy and the wings were amazing. Drinks are awesome too. Amazing family owned place.
Favorite spot ever. Spent my bday there. The people there were so sweet and the food was delicious. The vibes were immaculate!! 10/10, would recommend!! PS. get the chicken wingssssss because yumm!!!! :)
I had high hopes for these wings after reading all the great reviews but I have to say I was quite disappointed. The wings were big but the fish and chip type batter wasn’t great, they were also not tossed in enough sauce so they were dry. Yes there are 80+ sauce flavours to choose from but they don’t taste like they say.. they taste watered down. They were edible but I wouldn’t get them again.
It's a bit pricey for booze, wings are o.k.. like it for the area. nothing personal. i gave you 4 stars, with tax + tip, it's 7 dollars +, and that's expensive no matter where.
Massive, juicy, tasty wings with amazing service. [Food] With 80 flavors it was a challenge to choose one, but I was able to pick the Creamy Garlic Spiced Up. It was a satisfying choice for the great wings it comes with. I only wish the wings were a bit more saucy. [Service] Our server (who is also the owner) was extremely sweet, welcoming, and laid-back person. [Atmosphere] There isn't too much to see here, the place is small, and doesn't get very busy. Edit: I've been back here a couple times since my review and they've remembered every time to give me extra sauce. This restaurant has become my go-to place for wings in the past year and I'll keep coming back
