I have been eating here for a while now. I don't know why I have never left a review but better late than never! The food here is great, and the way they treat you is even better! I recommend eating food from here. It is a sports bar though, so maybe don't come here for a date - but if you want to catch the game, go for it!
Picked for the reviews. Very unassuming, more like a sports bar. Came in with a family member in wheelchair. Easy to get in and get around. Staff pleasant, efficient and helpful. The Food, big surprise, fresh, very tasty, nice portions and very reasonable prices. The chef came up to talk to us, we had a pleasant conversation. He asked if there was anything he could do to make the food better. It was an great experience. Even though I live in St Catharine’s, I am looking forward to dine there again. Thank you to all the staff, and regular patrons who were so welcoming. A hidden gem for sure
Came here for a late night Chinese food craving and was blown away at the quality of food. For the price and how late they are open, I will be coming back.
This is my favorite local bar in East York. You’re always greeted by the owner, Tula (who will try to challenge you to a game of pool). The food is amazing, especially the shrimp rolls. Definitely worth a visit!
I decided to try this hidden gem for takeout on my birthday. This place was absolutely surprising. Food was unbelievable and decently priced. $156 for 5 people to share and we ordered about 10-12 meals I think. You do not want to sleep on this place. The girl that took our payment (maybe also bartender?) was a doll and so friendly. I actually called after we ate to say how good it was lol. 10/10
Tula always brings the heat in the kitchen! Drinks are always ice cold and the game is always on TV or on the pool table! My favourite local spot for some good eats and cold treats!
Wok and Grill has the best bar food hands down. Imagine Chinese food tailor made for a bar environment. They have delicious wings, fried shrimp, and calamari appetizers. If you get the seafood fried rice and a pitcher of beer while watching some sporting event on their screens, it's a guaranteed good time. The other cool thing about this place is that the owner cooks the food for you. You can see him at the wok doing his thing. You can witness how he cooks the delicious yummy food for you. You can see the flames doing that thermodynamics, changing the chemistry to your food and see the final result on the plate looking all beautiful and delicious. The wings are delicious. The t-shirts look like two pans instead of two woks but they're nice still!
