Not an uncommon trait, but this microbrewery is in an industrial neighbourhood which gives it a "middle of nowhere" feel. There are only a few parking spots out front. There's a large lot in the back but not sure if that's theirs as it didn't seem available to use unfortunately. Parking aside, the place has a very interesting layout and feel. When you walk in, the atmosphere varies quite a bit from the left and right wings of this microbrewery. The left, which was empty at the time, has more of a lounge feeling. Some books on a shelf, a cozy Persian rug, it feels a lot like a cafe but it's comfortable. To the right of the bar area, they have a complimentary fooseball and ping pong table which me and my friend were thoroughly amused by. The tables are right by their brewing equipment and employee areas so it feels like you are playing at someone's workplace...well I mean, you are. Sometimes the ping pong ball will fly over to their equipment and you have to try to recover it without knocking something over haha. As for the beers, the selection was rather tiny, and two of them were unavailable at the time leaving us with a selection of only 3 beers to try. The quality of what they did have was proper, however. Service from the staff & owner was also very warm and welcoming. If you are looking for a place to hang out, have a couple of fresh beers and play some games for free, this is a great pick.
What a gem! Stopped to take a break from the DVP. Nice selection of core beers, the Golden IPA is fantastic. Grabbed two of each can to try later. Had a great chat with Ethan, the owner/ partner. Food truck is on site with Jerk chicken. Would definitely visit again.
The best beer I've ever had in Toronto! Goldenfield Brewery offers a good selection of craft beers that are both unique and delicious. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are friendly. Highly recommend!
Had a flight here and i really liked their session IPA and amber pale ale! Session was so refreshing and the citrus burst was great… lightly hoppy at the end. Very crisp and easy to go down. The amber had a nice wheaty body which i also enjoyed very much. I think the only suggestion i have is to have their menu loaded online and have it readily available thru Qr code.
amazing and diverse beer list and a great place to hang out. IPA’s are among the best I’ve had and the other beers are excellent. staff and owner are welcoming, knowledgeable and make you feel at home immediately. drink in or pick up options available.
Great craft beers. Beer can be served in glasses or purchased in cans. You can feel the friendly atmosphere once you get in. There is a bar place you can hang out with friends or to watch games sometimes. They have some nice couches and tables you can have business meetings over a glass of beer if you like! you can also spend time playing table tennis or foosball table there. suggestions: it'd be great to have warm snacks served.
Great tasting beer and fantastic staff. Goldenfield have been providing beer for my work Happy Hours for over a year and we are in love with the brand! The beer selection is excellent and is popular amongst our guests. Excited to visit the brewery soon!!
