Rude woman over the phone. No customer service skills nor professionalism. Just as bad of a service compared to Tim Horton's. Update - Haha I knew she would post a childish remark. Only an ignorant person would assume someone is unhappy. I just love roasting narrcistic, hypocritical, unprofessional people who have no class and who are rude, mean, & immature like her
5 stars are not enough for the awesome service I received from the Candy Bar. Live in Brantford. Have a few Family members who love Licorice allsorts, Blackpool rock etc. To my surprise they sell Branston - Piccalilli as well. I can not buy this in any grocery store in Canada. I purchased this along with some Marks & Spencer's custard biscuits for my 95 year old Father. Everything arrived so beautifully packaged with tissue paper& bubble wrap. Their shipping costs are low. The Candy Bar is an absolutely an amazing company who I will recommend to everyone I know and to those I don't know! Thank you so very much Candy Bar. PS I am keeping the 2 jawbreakers/gobstoppers for myself! They are so big...don't know how they fit in my mouth at 5-6 years old. Will edit my review once I have had one. Thanks again... Update The Jaw breakers are huge. These are twice the size of the ones I had as a child in England because they do not fit in my mouth, Working on one...got one layer off slowly. Will hit the next one with a hammer to break it apart. Haven't had so much fun in years.
This charming little candy bar is a sweet-lover’s dream come true! It’s packed with an incredible selection of Canadian and international chocolates and candies — many you’d likely never discover unless you step inside. Think Jacobean chocolates from Newfoundland and delightfully chewy BUBS gummies from abroad. Every inch of the cozy shop is brimming with color, nostalgia, and pure joy. And the best part? Paola, the delightful owner, is often there herself, greeting visitors with her warm smile and irresistible charm. A truly fantastic spot for anyone with a sweet tooth! P.S. Walked in November 01st with this mad craving for salt water taffy, and ended up leaving with not one generously filled bag of salt water taffy but TWO! And her adorable pumpkin display! Made my entire week, and I exhausted telling everyone who would listen
I went in looking for some type of coffee chocolate and the bar I bought was really good. I would come back for it. I’m sure anyone can find something they like here as there is so much variety in this little store. Only negative thing is that the lady working there was a bit cold. It just seems like she’s annoyed when you ask normal questions
This place has not only the most delicious and intriguing candies and sweets, but it also has perfect customer service and a fitting atmosphere to go along with it! They have many vegetarian and gluten-free options for the majority of their sweets. I will recommend this to everyone it comes up to! P.S. The Tutti Frutti Party Pigs are the best!
The lady we had spoke with was very friendly and knowledgeable of the stores candy variety. Not only was the costumer service great, but i genuinely had to take a moment of silence for how fresh the candy was. Literally 10/10!!
Just stopped by checking out the place in my local neighborhood, resident over 40 years. The worker was nice but the big lady in the moomoo dress was not very nice. I was lookin for a candy I would usually find at sugar mountain but they didn't have it. Which was fine but then she made a rude comment and turned her back and proceeded to to help another customer. Not a good way to treat your locals. Other reviews seem to point to the same issue. Some people are just not cut out for this business. Oh well I don't think this place will be there very long. Hope sugar mountain comes back to the area; miss that place; friendly owners and staff.
