UNREAL. We used Elle Cuisine for Thanksgiving ‘25. We had over a dozen adults + children and ordered all of our sides and extra bits from the team. Ordering was a breeze and Wimela + the team answered every question I had (and more) and even took my suggestion to sell gravy and cranberry sauce separate - and it was added that hour to the menu. It felt collaborative and I could tell the kitchen team took great pride in packaging every dish. Everything was beyond organized and even our delivery guy, JR (?) was fantastic. He hand delivered every box right into our kitchen and stayed to chat - it didn’t feel transaction and felt very warm, genuine. In addition, the food was incredible! I pride myself on being a fantastic home chef but with little kids of my own this season was too much for me to do alone and the food was beyond. We ordered canapés, two different salads, garlic mashed potatoes, harissa glazed carrots, brussels’ and their sage bread stuffing (a must!). The cost was on par with anything I would have made and it saved me a headache and time. I am so deeply appreciative to this team. THANK YOU.
My husband and I used ellecuisine as our wedding caterers and they were perfect. The food was so delicious I had multiple people come up to me and ask who we used, and almost everyone asked to take food home. Sam also helped us source a florist and decor/rentals and they put everything together for us perfectly. Can't wait to throw another party and use this team again!
I used Ellecuisine to cater my wife's surprise party in Feb 2024. We had about 25 guests and have special dietary requirements. We eat a vegan diet and my concerns were: 1) that the food would not be that tasty (as few chefs do Vegan well), 2) that the service would be seemless and well managed 3) that the timing would align with the short set up time frame we had due to the surprise. I worked with Sydney and Lauren who put together and finger food menu. They were both so helpful, cooperative and creative. They developed a menu that turned out to be very delicious and very substantial. In other words most guests wished they had not eaten prior to arriving as the amount of food met the needs of a full meal. The team showed up on time and ready to roll. I was initially dubious about the role of the event manager (the servers and chefs roles were self-explanatory). But Alex (the event manager) totally changed my mind. He read the room on timing and delivery of food, ensured that the plates going out were complimentary, ensured QA of the plates, managed the setup and teardown, etc. His input and effort was crucial to the successful execution of the evening. As an added bonus, the folks from Ellecuisine were simply joyful people who loved what they were doing. They had smiles on their faces all night. My guests all raved about the overall catering experience from food to service to attitude. Its not often that my expectations are exceeded, but Ellecuisine did so! I will only work with them moving forward.
Elle Cuisine is probably THE best caterer in Toronto. The food and the staff can not be beat. We have used Elle Cuisine for multiple in home private functions as well as my own wedding. We had around 195 guests plus vendors who they had to cook for as well. All I can say is that I have never heard so many people (everyone) compliment the food, especially at a wedding, that is rare. I had passed appetizers for cocktail hour, then a 4 course meal. At 11:00pm I also had two late night stations. Everyone went crazy for all of the food. Lauren (Owner/Chef) and Carolee (Director of Events) were involved so meticulously from the beginning of me planning my wedding right to the end. I will never use another caterer in Toronto ever again. Elle Cuisine is reliable, professional and their dishes are always new, tasty, fun, and beautifully presented no matter how many people they are serving. Elle Cuisines integrity is never lost no matter what the food requests are, or how challenging you are as a client. If I could have them cook for me everyday, I would happily accept. Love, love, love them!
