Absolutely delicious. The owner was very kind and informative. We found the prices for the hot chocolate extremely reasonable considering that they are very high quality. I would definitely recommend
One of my most memorable moments during my first visit to Toronto. Sunny the woman working there was such a joy to talk to and learn more about Chocosol’s chocolate from. I left with four bars and already wished I got more. Their chocolate is exquisite and unique. They also partner directly with the farmers. It is a must get or a must go-to place if you appreciate the process and experience with high quality, more premium chocolate. Be sure to ask about and taste the jaguar varieties! EDIT: I left with four bars and it was not enough. I wish I bought more! Especially knowing they are not in the states
Had the Milk chocolate hot chocolate with jaguar milk. No sugar. Just melted dark chocolate. Incredibly expensive. A normal hot chocolate from Tim's is better
Had a wonderful experience tasting this awesome chocolate and learning about the company. Every sample I tried was delicious. Hardest part was picking the ones to take home. Excellent customer service by the blonde lady (sorry I didn't get your name). Also, ask about their coffee products. I was so impressed with the information and all the company standards. Excellent products!
I enjoyed their hot chocolate and their sustainable business practices. As per the little sign to get a free piece of chocolate, I happily made a video of the business and posted it on my Instagram tagging the business. I then showed this to the white middle aged lady working. She was very nit picky and told me that normally it has to be a public video. I told her that my Instagram is private for security reasons, which is my comfort level, and that I have 350 approved followers so they will all be able to view my video about the business. Then she acted like she was making an exception to give me a free piece. Are you for real? You shouldn't normally exclude folks based on this type of reasoning, but respect the reason that they have opted for private accounts. I was more than happy to personally show her my Instagram account with my number of followers plus my posted video. This should be enough.
I really like their chocolate bars. I got the hot chocolate and added some spice. It was good, a little grainy not as smooth as i would like it. It was made in the spot vs cooking it so it’s completely melted. I prefer the sonoma chili hot chocolate.
Hands down the best chocolate in Toronto! I used to think I ‘hated’ dark chocolate until chocosol converted me! Love coming here with my own container to buy in bulk (they give loose bits as a bonus). Their drinks are also so wonderful - do not miss out on this gem making wonderful chocolate and doing important work with cacao growers! :)
