Matthew is a visionary designer who took me on a journey of discovering my perfect suit for the most special day of my life - my wedding. During the numerous appointments I got to learn the history of the tuxedo, inspired to create my one of a kind suit, and marvel at Matthew's mastery. Matthew was patient in answering my many questions and helped me not get lost in the vastness of fabrics and suit combinations that he offers. He created my entire outfit from the bespoke shoes to the cufflinks. His attention to detail is second to none and that shows in the final product. It's difficult to summarize the outstanding quality of both the product and the experience which Matthew offers as he designs, crafts and artfully tailors an original garment made specifically for your body. From beginning to end, the experience was a total delight. After drawing his vision board for my three-piece suit, Matthew guided me through my choice of luxurious fabrics until we finally settled on a classic black shadow stripe for a subtle edge to the corporate power suit. Next he invented the ultimate piece: a strong but incredibly feminine classic white shirt - which fits like a second skin and is more comfortable than silk pajamas. The final product is a versatile capsule work wardrobe with pieces that I can also wear with jeans on a hot date. And the greatest of all "gifts with purchase" is the friend I now have in Matthew - whose mad skills as a craftsman are matched by his kindness, humour and warmth. From the moment we first reached out to Matthew for our custom wedding tuxedos all the way to the final fitting, Matthew was professional, kind, warm, and a visionary who was able to see our dream suits and bring them to life. My husband and I were planning on eloping in Iceland and were hoping for one of a kind custom suits, and Matthew made this happen within 7 WEEKS of us reaching out. He was so dedicated to making sure we were happy and he is beyond incredibly talented at his art and his craft. He considered our visual backdrop, weather/wind conditions, and so many more details in the construction of the garments to achieve our desired aesthetic/look.
