Moving from my old home to a new one didn't start off well. During the move one of my external hard drives was dropped and damaged. To make matters worse it was not the entertainment drive with all my movies and games. It was the one that had all my important and sentimental stuff. I was working on a novel and had written around 30 pages. Inadvertently, I unplugged the USB without saving the document. So, the doc became corrupted and I could not open it. I took the USB to them and the account manager told me that their engineers needed to look at it. The aaciunt manager reassured me verbally that my privacy would be protected. He told me that they would provide me with a quote the following day. The following day ( yesterday)I was given a quote which was too high for me and told that my doc was a novel and could easily be recovered. I did not accept the price and wanted to get my USB back. I went to 5075 Yonge St and was given broken USB by the account manager although I decided not to go with them after their expensive quote. Then, I found a cheaper place which not only would put the USB together but also would charge no additional fee for recovery. Unfortunately, among the pieces returned to me, the memory is missing. ×××Updatexxxx Upon my initial review, the company rep Val contacted me and apologized for the inconvenience and offered to take necessary steps such as recovering my doc at no cost and returning the memory for the broken USB. I have been kept up to date by the account manager Daniel about where the resolution process is. They have returned the memory chip and are going to save my doc to my fully functioning USB. I recommend this company due to how quickly they provide solutions if when things do not go as planned. Timely service and prompt resolution.

I recently had a data recovery done on an external.hard drive. I believe that the process is extremely expensive...for a device that costs less than $200, having to pay nearly $2000 seems excessive. But people need their data, photos or loved ones, etc...so its a bit of a gouge! However, the agent I dealt with personally, Timothy Rutan was excellent. He handled my case, questions, and concerns professionally and with compassion. He always replied to me same day to any concerns I had and kept me updated with every stage of the process. If the price was more reasonable, my experience would easily have been 5 stars.
