My friends and I stumbled into Snowday about 10 minutes before closing (we didn't know this). We were told we could order but just wouldn't be able to dine in, which was understandable. We ordered and went outside to a nearby stoop to enjoy our treat. The owner (I presume) came to find us and welcomed us to come inside while they cleaned up and closed the shop. He tried multiple times to get us back inside, which was very sweet. While we ended up staying outside, we appreciated the offer and the hospitality. Also, the bingsu was delicious.
We’ve been to many bingsu shops in the Toronto area and this one was by far the best!! We had the black sesame bingsu which was the perfect combination of sweet and milky. It came with black sesame ice cream, which was soo good and unique from other places. Even the injeolmi was authentic. The owner was also very kind and even gave us a little pup cup for our dog. Will definitely return!!
We had the Mango bingsu, and my mind was blown. It was so good! We also had the injeolmi croffle and a plain croffle, both very delicious as well. We will be coming back shortly! Excellent dessert place! Update: Went again, this time we got a bigger size Mango Bingsu and an Orero croffle. So good!
Walking in, it was already very busy however we were able to quickly order and grab a seat. They have three options of bingsu (cup, small and large). We got a small which was $16. I have a dietary restriction of no sugar and they were able to adapt my pineapple mango smoothie to it, which was absolutely delicious. My friend is also allergic to peanuts, which the cheesecake contained, so they put it on the side. 100% recommend! service was great.
We ordered the strawberry bingsu . Bing su was not layered with syrup. Flavour was bland. I feel like their main attraction is the mango, but please ensure other people have a pleasant time with the other orders
Cute place! We ordered 2 small bingsu, mango and grape… d e l I c I o u s !!!! The texture is not only super yummy it’s also super fun to eat! This time we ordered the fruit ones and it was so refreshing. I tried them first in Winter time and now in Simmer and I love it!
There was no AC. I get that it's a luxury, but everything literally melted before we could finish it. We opted for the green grape bingsoo. The grapes were fresh and tasty, but there was an unknown green sauce, that kind of dragged everything down. Will maybe come back and try another flavor, hopefully it's a bit cooler in here by then.
