This summer my brother and I went on vacation to Italy. One of the things I ticked off my bucket list was to find the best Tiramisu I could, and I did. It was in Florence, absolutely delightful. It was really hard leaving since I didn’t think I’d find anything similar back in Canada but then I remembered Nona Lia’s. Creamy, sweet, but just the right amount of sweet, full of flavour and just delicious! I also really love that they’re handmade, prioritizing the quality of each product!
Paid $22 +tip for a teacup of whipped cream. Etremely disappointed. EXTREMELY. There was no tiramisu in my cake. The tiny little bowl had whipped cream, 2 crumbs of pistachios and barely any flavor. Never ordering here again. Very very disappointed. Waste of my money.
For the price I was expecting great quality, my cake arrived completely dry and too much cream. It was like eating a slice of cake with canned whip cream on top. Disappointing that I couldn’t try its true potential.
Tiramisu is my favorite dessert although this time, this Lola Lia classic tiramisu didn’t gave me the coffee taste that i love in this dessert. They put lots of mascarpone and less lady fingers unlike from the first time i tried this brand. Cause of this i don’t think the price is worth the product.
Had it delivered as it has good reviews but when arrived it was a bit disappointing. Full of cream and cannot taste the matcha. Very expensive for a small portion
