I randomly found this place, walking Danforth on a winter Sunday. Looking for a tea to warm up, I found the most delicious Ethiopian Spiced Tea, and vegan food that was so fresh and delicious. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was as cozy as I have found in Toronto, and decorated like a garden during the holiday season. Will come back next chance.
The food here is incredible. Shared a two person plater and it was so much food I had to be rolled out of the restaurant . Love the ambiance here as well. Very cozy with the wonderful smell of incense. The service was excellent and very friendly.
Fantastic food, excellent atmosphere and the service is fast and friendly. As soon as you walk in they greet you very warmly. Decided to treat myself with a solo night out and I'm so glad i did. The portions are generous. I ordered a mango juice and the vegan platter for one. 10/10
It was a night out with my fiance and we had never had Ethiopian food before. After eating at Le Vegan, our new favourite food is just that! Great food and service. You won't be disappointed. Make sure your hungry cause this meals are very filling and tasteful. Felt like my tastebuds were back flipping in my mouth
Was a perfect dinner. They brought out a mini-champagne bottle alongside the desserts we ordered + the band sang happy birthday! But get this -- no one at our table even asked for it! They just overheard my sister wishing me a happy birthday. A true testament to their attentiveness and hospitality. Our group of four shared two sample platters and we were so full. Like, couldn’t-eat-another-bite full, but without that heavy, uncomfortable feeling. Everything was amazing, but we definitely have a few favourites in mind for the next time we drop in. Hopefully sooner rather than later!
It was a great experience. This restaurant has a ton of tasty vegan meals. They also had jazz music and a TV goin' in the middle of the seating area. I'd recommend it if you're fasting or just feel like some good vegan food!
