We’ve attended this beautiful restaurant many times as a large family. The service is always wonderful, the buffet has many options even GF options. From babies to older ones this restaurant has something. Not to mention the chocolate fountain that’s a huge hit with all our kids. We look forward to continuing celebrating family birthdays and special occasions here for the years to come.

We attended the dinner theater production of "The Wedding Party". It was a great production with engaging actors and a fun mystery to solve. It's an in depth puzzle to solve, so bring your best puzzle solving friends! The buffet meal was absolutely fabulous with a wide selection of delicious choices! Drink servers were attentive and courteous. The Old Mill is upscale and first class. Usually lots of paid parking in the lot across the road. We will go again!

Location is in a great area of Toronto. Amenities are good. Better address illumination would help guests arriving in dark. Food was quite bland and not appealing. Attended a conference yesterday.

We recently held our wedding at this venue and, unfortunately, experienced several significant issues that had a meaningful impact on our day. Espresso Service: Despite espresso being included in our package and culturally important to many of our guests, multiple attendees were told by staff that espresso was “not available” or “not paid for.” Only five were served, even though many more were requested, leaving guests confused and uncomfortable. Cake Handling: The top tier of our wedding cake—meant for us to take home—was not provided to us at the end of the night, nor were we informed where it was placed. Communication around this was unclear and extremely frustrating. Venue blamed us for not asking for the cake. Card Box Placement: We explicitly requested that the card box be placed inside the reception room for security. Instead, it was set beside open doors where guests from another wedding were passing through. This contradicted our instructions and created an unnecessary risk. When we asked our event captain to follow the approved room layout she responded its too late now and blamed our photographer for using the other table. Photographer and Room Access: The venue incorrectly blamed our photographer for issues with closed doors and guest flow. Our photographer was with us the entire time and had no involvement in these problems. Venue Captain yelled at the groom that the guests were hanging out in the hallway and not in the hall. Turned out to be the wedding in the adjacent hall and all our guests were in the room. Accessibility Issues: This was the most concerning part of the night. Elderly guests with mobility challenges, including my father, were forced to use three flights of stairs because staff refused continued use of the service elevator. This caused physical risk, stress, and completely failed to meet basic accessibility expectations. Accessibility should never be an afterthought. Staff Interactions: Several interactions with staff, including confrontations that should never occur on a wedding day, added unnecessary tension to what should have been a seamless experience. Food Tasting: We had to pay for a food tasting. All other venues we interviewed included a food tasting. And as expected the food the night of the wedding tasted nothing like the food at the tasting. General Coordination: Overall, there were multiple breakdowns in communication, planning, and execution that contradicted our approved plans and created confusion throughout the evening. For what we spent on this wedding we expected professionalism, coordination, and respect for guest comfort and safety. Unfortunately, the service we received did not meet those expectations. While every venue can experience challenges, the number and significance of the issues we faced were beyond reasonable. When brought to the attention of the venue they denied everything and offered a free brunch. Hardly due compensation for how the event was handled. Avoid this venue, particularly if your event includes attendees with accessibility needs, as the facility does not meet accessibility standards.

We had our son and daughter in law’s first baby shower this past Sunday Nov 23/25 in the very lovely Garden room. It was a wonderful afternoon gathering for our family and friends, and the happy expecting couple, but I just had to offer a sincere thank you to the entire Old Mill team. Wonderful buffet and guests remarked about exceptional food and superb friendly service. We had our wedding reception here in 1991 and are so glad we came back. We do hope to come back for more such events and will strongly recommend this venue to all we know. Well done and again thank you. Mike & Nancy

My wife and I could not have been more pleased with the Toronto Old Mill for our wedding. The food was delicious, the ambiance was beautiful, and the staff were fantastic in supporting us & our guests. Anna, our catering executive & point person, was extremely accommodating and supportive, working with us to plan our big day and problem-solving unexpected challenges close to the day-of. Please do not hesitate to choose the Toronto Old Mill for your wedding, you'll be well taken care of!

I recently took my granddaughter to the Old Mill for a princess party teatime event. She absolutely loved it. The grounds were just exquisite. All the little girls were dressed up in princess dresses with tiara’s, and they had four princesses come out to entertain the kids. The room was set up beautifully, and the food was excellent.
