The chicken was chewy, wet and dry at the same time, oh oh and also wayyy too soggy. Will never come again. If you still want to try, please go to a different location. Cheers!
$26 dollars (with 5% tip and tax) for two reasonable, but over salted chicken tenders/pieces between a basic bun, and a small poutine. Service was muted, vibe was kinda sad (no music, down trodden staff), food was reasonable, but not worth $26 dollars. Over salted.
Tried their "spicy" chicken sandwich with pasta salad side. They charge extra to roll it in Chilli powder and that's it. Nothing else. Was kind of disgusting not even going to pretend. Tasted grungy like it was old spices. Mostly killed whatever flavor there was to chicken and coleslaw flavor did not go with it. Coleslaw on sandwich was basically pure mayo yet with a weird tang similar to cheap store-bought. Same with the pasta salad. Watery mayo and macaroni with little flavor. It was one of few late night options and next time I'll get pizza despite being lactose.
Only one poor guy working there, up to the front and then back to the back. My sandwich was just a wet mess. Never had a fried chicken sandwich like this. I ordered the Big Cluck
Got the spicy two piece with pasta salad. No flavor in the chicken and it was at least 70% breading with oily fatty chicken. Pasta salad was 95% Mayo and 5% noodles. Would not recommend or try again.
I had the 4 pieces of chicken with fries and coleslaw. I was disappointed. The chicken was greasy and fatty. This was supposed to be the star of the meal, and seeing some of the reviews I guess raised expectations. Fries were good. Coleslaw was ok, very one note, too much dressing for my taste. The server was very pleasant. I would not come back, I would not recommend.
Sadly it appears that something has changed within their chicken burger. I've been coming here since 2023 as they used to be reliable source of chicken burger. The size of chicken has gotten larger but it's mostly skin and batter. Unfortunately it has been overcooked so the chicken feels rather dry -- dry, chewy chicken burger. It's hard to pin point what changed but definitely not as reliable/fresh tasting fried chicken burger anymore
