Rude staff, dishonest on the phone, tried going here a few times over the last 30 years. Complete waste of time. I try to support local but no, not in this instance.
Great place to get real Christmas Trees and other real wreaths, etc, for Christmas decorations! They have lots of plants and speciality garden products that you aren't likely to find anywhere else in the city. This place is a must, if you're looking to take your Christmas decor up a notch this year!
A lot of the plants were in very rough shape, the customer service was terrible, and the lady behind the cash register inside was very rude. Never shopping here again.
The staff is not trained. They provided wrong information for availability of bamboo stakes. We drove there for 45 minutes only to find out that stakes are cracked and diameters are twice smaller than we told. To reach the owner by phone was impossible. First we were told that she is busy that she would be back in 20 minutes, then she was outside and we can talk. The owner was not cooperative for reduction of price in spite of the product was defective and the information was wrong. Bad service and the place is unpleasant to deal with.
Amazing staff and fantastic prices. If you live downtown you should definitely take transit here or uber as the prices and selection are both amazing. Support local stores instead of depending on Loblaws and Canadian Tire. We need to make sure these local institutions stay alive and thrive. Thanks so much!!
This year I lost 3 boxwoods due to a moth infestation. Master Gardner Judy recommended replacing them with yews. This morning she and her team arrived, trimmed back an overhanging evergreen, fertilized the soil, planted the yews with some Japanese Spurge and finished with lots of mulch. And all done by 10:30am before the rain. Great job!
The selection at this local gem are great. Anything for small balconies to huge lots. They have it all. Everyone who works there has great knowledge and bad attitudes. No joke. But, hey, there's something refreshing about a bunch of knowledgeable grumps.
