Can’t say how much I love this plant store!! I went with my husband since we planned to buy a few plants and knew they might be heavy. I was lucky enough to meet the owner that day, and he was incredibly attentive. I came in with some ideas and plenty of questions, and he answered all of them patiently while sharing his knowledge so openly. I’ve been using nursery pots for the past year, and I was curious about the clay pots they displayed, then he introduced me to Bergs pots. I picked one up for my money tree, and he even helped me repot it. I’m now thinking of gradually replacing the rest of my pots, because the Bergs pot is so breathable you can actually see it absorbing water through the clay surface. He also showed me his rare Philodendron ‘Florida Ghost’ with its beautiful white leaves. I tried to resist… but obviously failed haha. I also asked about crawling plants, and he came back to help me multiple times without ever making me feel rushed. Before we left, he carefully wrapped every single plant and even added an extra layer outside the paper bag to protect them from the snow. I got my plants home safe, sound, and happy. We were chatting about fruit trees after checkout, but our Uber arrived and cut the conversation short. And I should mention, this wasn’t special treatment just because I was the only customer. There were several others in the store, and he managed to give everyone the same level of care. I don’t buy plants all the time, but when I do, Plant Society will definitely be my go-to store.
I had such a great experience at Plant Society! I picked up a beautiful money tree along with a stunning pot, and I couldn’t be happier with how they look together. The store itself is wonderfully designed — calm, stylish, and full of inspiration for plant lovers. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, making the whole visit feel personal and welcoming. Highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for healthy plants, unique pots, and a lovely shopping experience.
Most wonderful plant shop with the kindest and most knowledgeable workers you can get downtown! All of the plants I have gotten from this location (and I've gotten many) have always been super healthy and beautiful, and the workers have always been extremely helpful whenever I have asked for tips on taking care of a plant :) one time I even asked them where I might find an 8 inch plastic pot after having failed to find any at nearby stores, and the man at the counter gave me one for free, and gave me recommendations on what shops to go to for gardening supplies! The prices of the plants are also extremely reasonable, which I can confidently vet after having visited many plant shops near downtown Toronto. 10/10 service, 10/10 products :)
Came with a friend to find an easy indoor houseplant for beginners. The owner was very knowledgeable, kind, and answered all our questions. Definitely coming back!
