This store has the Best Selection of Maple Syrup and gourmet maple products like maple butter, tea, waffles and cookies, chocolate and candy. Everything looks so good that it is hard to choose but the staff are very helpful and I found a great selection of maple treats specifically maple cookies that I am really excited to share with my family.
I visited Canadian Naturalist yesterday October 25 to buy 3 T-shirts as gifts. I was welcomed warmly by Lynn. Lynn was professional, very polite and respectful. She was knowledgeable about all the products and was so helpful. She helped me choose 3 T shirts and gave me suggestions on the sizing since I was not totally sure, especially for a baby. She also gave me suggestions on the colours. I am very grateful to Lynn for all her help and patience with me. She has excellent customer service skills. I will go back again when I want a Canadian Gift.
My husband and I went in to browse some tshirts and we were asked by the shopkeeper not to take the display as she will get another in stock to show us. She told us not just once but twice as I was touching it looking for the price. I can't understand what's the problem with touching it, wondering how she manages when there are lots of customers, surely she can't serve them all personally. Shame we were planning to buy a few souvenirs for the family. No wonder it's not a busy shop.
Visiting from Denmark, we found ourselves at the Canadian Naturalist, as we wanted to get a few things to take home and had been recommended the shop. We were met with a very sweet and helpful lady and got some delicious maple cookies and syrup, super cute magnets, tea towels, and honestly much more than we had planned to get (oops). The shop is a beautiful "Canadian oasis" and has a large variety of everything your heart could possibly desire from delicious maple cookies and syrup to t-shirts, hoodies, dream catchers, bracelets, etc. etc. What I especially appreciated was the quality of the items and the feeling of getting genuine Canadian products. We already have a new trip to Canada in the calendar and will definitely come back to visit the shop.
Rude unwelcoming staff. My wife felt a t-shirt and was told not to touch anything. It's pretty normal to feel the material of t-shirt, she hadn't even lifted it up or unfolded it.
Bought a pair of boxers that were tagged large and when we got home to Florida, the item was a small. I cant contact the store as no canadian calling after trip. And no website or contact info given to fix this problem. $ 40 cdn dollars for one pair of boxers?!? If they contact me then maybe we can make this right. Thanks
Wide selection of Canadian Gifts and Souvenirs all beautifully presented! The staff were very friendly and helped me to choose great gifts to take home to my friends and family. A great experience. Definitely the best souvenir shop in the city - highly recommend !
