Such a beautiful little shop. I was recommended here while on the hunt for local teaware and was delighted to find a handmade shiboridashi (really hard to find in the city!) I also purchased a small sake cup and will likely stop by soon for another. I've already used the shiboridashi at home to brew some sencha and am very pleased with the construction and function of the vessel. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area! There is a nice selection of products that you might not find elsewhere in addition to the owners' pottery.
The coziest gift shop with great selection and the nicest staff! I recently went to Mika to pick out Christmas gifts for my friends and I was absolutely in love with the shop. The vibe was so great and the people there are both friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to Luna who helped me pick out a great gift box and also gave me advice on taking care of my house plants. It was overall a great experience and I will definitely recommend Mika for holiday shopping!!
My favorite plant store in Toronto!! The best quality and variety of plants and pots, and beautifully handmade pottery! So many cool and unique accessories. All the staff is so wonderful! So friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Special shoutout to Luna for the amazing customer service! And the atmosphere inside the shop is so warm and lovely. Highly Recommend!
Visiting Mika’s shop is always an uplifting experience. It is a wonderful place where one can find special gifts, or simply enjoy a beautiful and calm environment.
Avoid this place at all costs. I wish I could give it zero stars. Their customer service is abysmal. I had an issue with my order—mistakes happen, I understand that. But the way they handled it was unacceptable. They sent me the wrong order and then got defensive when I asked them to correct it. I will never shop here again.
Absolutely the cutest little gem of a plant store. Mika's attention to detail is exquisite. From her handmade pottery, the beautiful plants, dried flowers, handmade cards, even her own handmade fertilizer and pest control products are all of the highest quality. A must when in the neighbourhood. Thank you Mika!!
