This little shop is a real neighborhood gem run by the kindest people. It really shines at Christmas and Easter, but is worth visiting year round for high quality kitchen tools and decor.

I love the people here and want this store to thrive but here’s some constructive criticism... The new sign is beautiful but the selection and display of merchandise and overall ambience needs a better vision. This could be THE place where children beg their parents to come visit at Christmas. Put a Santa train in the window, some whimsical decor like twinkle lights - simple but important details for atmosphere such as Alpine music gently playing in the background and better goodies like what they sell at Food Depot International. The Old Country Shop can be so much better and therefor give better reason for customers to return more often.

This year we actually do have a train in our window :) and Christmas music surrounds the shop, even our outdoor speaker which is new this year. We are always striving to improve. This store is a link to the old-world of Europe, and a bit of what Roncesvalles used to be about. Old Country Shop features loads of giftable gems from Germany, including sweets and toys, but the prices match the fact that everything is imported, so keep that in mind when shopping.
