The staff there particularly a man and unfriendly female staff is really rude there. I am a regular gym goer and am even considering stopping my gym membership and switch gyms due to the staff. it is not a one time thing..every . single. time. I actually have to speak to the manager about this.. how do you expect to attract and more importantly KEEP customers in this manner? I left my phone there yesterday and the guy on the weekend didn't let me find it ? Seriously? way to go GoodlifeTHIS MESSAGE IS TO THE OWNER: I also have a complaint about the short asian girl. she is the other staff that is very rude, she works staurday nights last time I checked and is ALWAYS extremely rude. doesn't even give time people to leave etc. she is nasty. please. check up on this staff.
This gym is really weird. Most of it is air-conditioned, except for, inexplicably, the workout area on the main level. And since there are no windows and the doors are closed, it's incredibly, stiflingly hot. There are a couple of ceiling fans that make absolutely no difference. And when I was there, they turned those off after awhile. I guess they figured it wasn't hot and stuffy enough. I've done half-marathons in muggy Southeast Asia with no major issues, but after 20 minutes in this gym, I had to leave because I was about to be sick. Is Goodlife really so cheap that you'd rather have people throwing up and passing out than turn up the air-conditioning?
This is the worst Goodlife location I have ever been to. Not only is it extremely overcrowded, but the entire centre half of the gym is roped off for personal training despite the personal trainers only using it for a fraction of the time. When they arent there, you are still not allowed to use it despite how busy the rest of the gym is. I understand that it creates a space for personal training, but my issue is that they dont let you use the free weights or machines even when there is NO ONE THERE. The rule makes absolutely no sense and is extremely inconvenient especially when youre waiting 20 minutes for a machine while there are perfectly good ones that you cant even use. Avoid at all costs.
Great location overall.Spacious, plenty of room for free-weights and a decent number of racks and machines. Two things prevent me from giving it 5 stars:1. Way too busy during the after work rush. Surprisingly, though, not bad at all during lunch hours.3. Other members have mentioned the personal training space is a problem as well. It's mostly just the location of it. In one corner of the taped off area, close to the assisted dip/pull-up station, there's no space at all. During rests, I'm constantly finding people getting in each others' way.tl;dr: good gym, just go at the right time to avoid long wait times.
Great location but it does get busyyyy here. But the layout of equipment is really well managed just certain peek times you might have to work around the squat rack or the bench press. See you soon.V. M.
