I liked what Buster did with my mom’s hair, so I went trusting a trim and a little style wouldn’t come out so devastating. But it was. You tell a hairdresser what you’re there for, they end up doing what they want, and at the end, I was told “I don’t trim I style”. The worst part, is for an hour of him cutting away, he wouldn’t let me see my hair, every time I turned to see, he’d straighten my head and ask me to stay still. Even when standing me up, he was discussing with my mother (not me, the client) about what’s better to do for my hair (he wanted to cut more off, and tell me what’s “in fashion”). I’ve NEVER cared to follow what’s in fashion. My long hair was cut way more than I wanted, I lost a side burn because he went ahead confused at what I tried to explain for styling, even after I reacted and said “NO please leave that part alone”, I still came out with no side burn and a very weird cut, and still payed…. I had patches of baby hairs there that I had to ask him to clean up, man was gonna let me leave like that His solution? He would tap on my hair pushing it to the front saying “you can cover it”— no, I can’t. I had a horrible experience and am mad at myself for trusting him with my hair. You done wrong with me Buster. And oiling one’s hair isn’t useless, to each their own opinion. If you’re arrogant in yours, you don’t have my respect. You cut a lot of my hair off while boasting about how good you are “keeping length”, I would have been better off doing it at home myself.

I recently tried a coloring service for the first time, and it turned out to be the most disappointing experience I've ever had at a hair salon. It's difficult for me to express myself when I'm uncomfortable, and unfortunately, Mr. Buster didn't show much consideration. While the color of my hair didn't turn out bad, the overall service was absolutely appalling. I informed Mr. Buster that I'm tender-headed, but he brushed it off by attributing it to my frequent braiding. However, I've had my hair done by many other hairdressers and never experienced this level of pain before. Initially, Mr. Buster applied color to my roots and then instructed me to sit under the hairdryer so the color could develop. Being my first time, I wasn't aware that the air from the dryer was supposed to be hot, not cold. He made me feel guilty for not mentioning that the air was cold, which was unnecessary. Now, my scalp is incredibly sore, and throughout the process, he kept suggesting that I comb my hair myself. It was impossible to do so since I was fully clothed and had a treatment on my hair. Although I hadn't planned on straightening my hair, Mr. Buster offered to do it for me as if it was a free service. In retrospect, I realize he was just trying to add extra services to increase the total cost and meet my budget, which was unfair. I've had my hair straightened many times before, and no one has ever straightened my hair starting from the portion right above my ear instead of the back, but I’m assuming people have different ways of doing things. I remained silent throughout, but he continued to burn my scalp with the straightener. I had to stop him midway because the pain became unbearable. When it came time to pay, he asked if I had cash or card. I informed him that I would be using my card, and he mentioned that taxes would be added, which was understandable. However, I wasn't aware that he would charge me the exact amount I had specified as my budget, plus taxes, exceeding what I had planned to spend. I expressed my unwillingness to pay more than my budget, and without hesitation, he quickly charged me without taxes. While I left without paying more than I initially intended, looking back, I question whether I actually paid the fair value for the service or if he simply charged me based on my budget statement. Overall, I have no intention of returning to this salon, and I strongly advise against it, particularly if you have a tender head. The photos were taken a day after my appointment, and it literally looks like my hair needs a touch up!!

This is the worst hair salon located in Eglinton west. I will never come back to this salon. The owner was rude and disrespectful and the entire time complained about how “difficult” my hair was. He burned my scalp several times and I was in a extreme amount of pain. He complained the entire time and made me feel uncomfortable about my own hair. I would never come back here. The hair salon was extremely unprofessional and he just rushed through my hair. He complains and enjoys taking phone calls while having his clients sit there. This is one of the worst hair salons in Toronto. Do not go here. Also the hair salon is located in sketchy area and he really burned my scalp. I’m in a lot of pain. I would advise women not to go here ESPECIALLY if you have a sensitive scalp.

It took a long time to find a hair stylist who understood how to cut my thick, fine, short hair. Through the pandemic, my hair grew, I liked my waves & curls & wanted to keep them. My stylist wasn’t very good with my longer hair. I tried a few other places, one was worse and the other was ok, but it was a 2 hour process to style my hair. They couldn’t do anything natural and easy. Finally, I tried Buster and was so pleased with the cut and hair care. He has done a great job both times. My hair looks great for my face, it’s natural and takes me about five or trn minutes to style each day. Last time, I bought the leave in conditioner and no more friz. Thank you Buster for making me proud of my appearance again. ❤️

Hands down the worst salon I’ve ever been to. Firstly, I came on time for my appointment and I ended up waiting 50 minutes to do my hair. The hair dresser was very aggressive with washing my hair, my scalp was hurting for days. He burnt my scalp numerous of times with the straightener, and didn’t style my hair properly. Charged me an outrageous amount, the prices online didn’t match with what I was told. The service overall was horrible, if I could I would give this place a 0 rating.

I will not recommend this salon. Gives the appearance of high end but the products used by Buster are cheap and the salon has old and limited tools. Buster was very arrogant, not listening to what the customer wants. He seems more interested in satisfying his ego than the client. I told him I was not into a certain look and he said "yes you are, I know". What type of client facing professional will behave this way? Almost a God complex from this guy but without the skills. He kept talking about himself on how great he was, it appears he is living in the past and doesn't accept that he has fallen a long way from where he once was. Even when I tried to explain to him what I did not want he kept trying to talk over me and dismiss my feedback. Horrible experience, unprofessional stylist. I got better service at cheaper salons. I would not recommend Buster to anyone, the experience dealing with him as a professional was horrible, the experience dealing with him as an individual was horrible. Ego destroys talent.. To add to this Buster please do not reply saying that you do not recognize the name and the salon is closed due to province lockdown as you have been doing private appointments at your salon during the lockdown. Simply take the feedback and do better.

This individual is on a level of top champion. Only the top champs can be humble and remain humble while on their level. Speaking of levels his is at the top level. Take a look at the hair in photo...celebrities have this one gift that they are known for. That gift is turning others into celebrities just from being around them.
