Absolutely no. The service was the worst I've ever experienced at a hair salon. Zero customer service, zero professionalism. They were completely unenthusiastic. I got a hairdresser with incredibly long nails. She washed my hair terribly. She hurt my hair a lot with her nails, leaving my jacket completely soaked in the back—horrible. She started detangling my hair from the roots? What kind of hairdresser does that? She was pulling and my neck hurt. I asked for a blowout with a brush and bouncy curls. She literally separated my hair into four sections and curled it with a curling iron when I specifically told her I didn't want curls from a curling iron, but she did whatever she wanted. Bad attitude, completely unenthusiastic. I asked for a glass of water, and they didn't even have cups. Honestly, everything was awful. My hairstyle literally lasted 30 minutes. Normally, at other salons, it lasts for days. I'm the typical customer who doesn't say anything because maybe they are new or their first day, and I don't like to make people feel bad, I even complimented her work. But it was absolutely horrible from beginning to end. The worst part is that it was for a special occasion, and in the end, I had to get my hair done at another salon. Definitely not. The place is dirty, the hairdressers are unfriendly, no, no, and no. I came here as a TikTok recommendation and absolutely no.
II’ve been a loyal Blo customer for many years in Vancouver, going regularly for blowouts twice a month. The Vancouver locations have always shown excellent customer service and have consistently respected the longstanding relationship we built. On the rare occasions when something unexpected forced me to cancel outside the allowable window, they were always understanding and never penalized me. I recently moved to Toronto and have now had three appointments at Blo Yorkville — and unfortunately the experience has been very different. My appointment was for 6:15pm, scheduled around my daughter’s birthday dinner. I also had a long-awaited furniture delivery set for 3–4pm which ran significantly late. I called Blo’s Toronto main number to explain the situation and ask about my options, and was told I would be charged the full amount if I didn’t show. Wanting to avoid that, I chose to leave the delivery and rushed to my appointment. I arrived at 6:10pm, five minutes early. There was only one stylist working, and she informed me she didn’t even know about my appointment. She was still working on another client and estimated a 10–15 minute wait — but based on what I saw, it would likely be longer. With the salon closing at 7pm and the stylist still needing to finish her current client, it was clear I wouldn’t receive proper service. Despite the fact that I arrived on time and was physically present, Blo Yorkville still charged my credit card as a “no-show.” I did not miss the appointment — they simply had no stylist available for the booking they confirmed. This was deeply disappointing, especially compared to the exceptional service I’ve always received from Blo in Vancouver. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and reviews both their scheduling practices and their approach to customer care. Loyal clients should not be penalized for the salon’s own staffing issues. Thanks! I will be sure to take my business elsewhere.

I visited here for a blo-out for my university graduation photos. Service was nice, but the blo-out curls were different than what I had asked for. I would recommend them if you were in a pinch, and I'd maybe visit again and give them another shot.
Went for a blow out today at the Yorkville location, wanted a simple blow out no curls just face framing waves. Showed the stylist a picture and a video of what I wanted. Unfortunately my hair didn’t come out like I wanted and on top of that the stylist burnt the ends of hair ??? (I had just gotten a haircut 3 days ago so I had zero split ends), now most of my hair is burnt at the ends and my hair actually smells burnt which is devastating because now I probably have to go get another haircut to fix my ends. ? worst experience I’ve ever had!
Terrible experience - Less than 0 stars. My appointment was at 1:30 - she started washing my hair at 2! (no explanation or communication) The brush she used on my hair was filled with hair FROM HER PREVIOUS CLIENT! I had to get up and leave when I saw that. My whole blo dry from wash to paying for it took a total of 17 minutes. I can do better at home with a clean brush. Will not be returning.
Nicki did my hair for an event I had for the next day and she did an absolutely amazing job! Took her time to make sure each section was perfect and gave me a ton of tips on how to do my hair the next time I do a blow out! Absolutely recommend her as I was nervous after reading reviews for this spot but she was spectacular!
