I got a relaxing hair wash and a tremendous blowout by johanna. It's was such a treat, on my birthday and I couldn't have given myself a better gift. Everyone made me feel so special and I got the exact styling that I wanted, to the T. I wanted some crown volume but no crunchy hairspray and I was very happy that the hairspray used had hold but no crunchiness or shine to it. I'ma be visiting very very often now. Loved all the staff ❤️.....such lovely people.
Carla is the best. She’s the reason I keep coming back to this salon. Her price is incredibly reasonable. As someone with long straight hair all I ever need is a trim and a layer refresh. This should never be more than $60 and that’s exactly what I pay. Carla is kind and very thorough. You can tell she takes pride in her job. She also isn’t super chatty which I love. I don’t go to the salon for a therapy chat. I go to get my haircut and that’s what Carla does. I only get my hair cut once or twice a year and I will keep going to Carla for as long as she will have me. Highly recommend!
Always a great experience with Hollie! I always ask for a trim, and she makes sure to keep the length I want. She’s attentive, checking in with me during the process to make sure I’m happy. Pricing is fair, and booking online is easy. I’d definitely recommend her!
After months of researching salons and reading hundreds of reviews, I finally landed on DSquare salon. My mom and I were looking to get our colour done, as well as a cut and blow dry. We went there for a consultation and everyone was so nice. We liked the vibe and were very impressed with Irina. Her knowledge about colour was vast and she really gave us confidence to try them out. We were so happy we did! She was just as great as we thought she’d be! We both loved our colour and got lots of compliments from random strangers the moment we stepped onto the street. My colour was a little complicated and she nailed it. Her attention to detail and the time she took to confirm what she was doing and how much it would cost left nothing to surprise. She’s an absolute professional and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for a new salon, this is the spot! Clean, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Do note that there are stairs to go up to the salon, so if you have mobility issues, sadly that might be a dealbreaker…that said, it’s definitely worth a few stairs for this salon, we were thrilled with the results.
Sandra was amazing, I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she absolutely nailed it! Walked me through maintenance and made sure we were on the same page, just super professional and I loved the experience.
I have gone here three times and each time was in love with the way the girls cut my hair. Carla was efficient and sweet. Irina was also very efficient and skilled. And Hollie seemed to know exactly what I wanted even though I explained it so poorly. Each time I leave this salon I’m happy with my hair and impressed with their work. They are all fantastic stylists and the price point is very fair for the area. My fav salon by far ❤️. Also they never push their products onto customers but they’re SO GOOD. My hair is always so soft after they condition it. Have not been able to achieve that softness with any of my at home products.
Found out my appointment was cancelled 10 minutes before the appointment and I was literally around the corner. They called me twice earlier in the week with a random number and I couldn’t answer because I was working then never returned the call because I assumed it was spam. I feel like if somebody’s appointment is cancelled they should be emailed or texted if they cannot be reached via phone. Very disappointed as I have had a really awful week and have been looking forward to this appointment but I will definitely not be recommending this business to anyone any time soon which is unfortunate because it seems they are good at what they do. It’s not fair that they ask us customers to give them 48 hours notice of cancellation or be charged a fee but they themselves can cancel an customers appointment and not tell you about it until 10 minutes before. I even said that I would reschedule and don’t mind if it’s not with the hairdresser I booked with but they proceeded to tell me they didn’t have availability until Tuesday? I at least hoped they’d try and work around their miscommunication and get me in today but instead it felt like I was the burden asking to reschedule. Absolutely appalling if I’m being honest.
