As a new client, I was encouraged to make my requests while also being given suggestions to up level my do. Really appreciated the experience and my hair looks and feels great! Alissa is such a wonderful hairstylist- she takes the time to educate her clients and is so passionate about serving us curly haired folk. We have been going to Alissa for years and she is lovely and friendly and great at her job!
I have never worn my natural curly hair out in public and have gotten my hair permanently chemically straightened for as long as I can remember. After 2 years of growing my natural hair out, I chose to go to Alissa to begin my curly hair journey. Not only did she wash and style my hair perfectly, she also educated me about why she's doing things a certain way or using a specific product for my hair. I can say for a fact that she knows her stuff really well and I'm so glad I trusted her with my hair. I have never been more confident to wear my natural curls out in public. I'll definitely be visiting her again and hope to learn more from her!
