I arrived at the salon without an appointment, and they welcomed me in right away. Despite the short notice, they braided my hair without hesitation. Excellent service definitely a 5 star experience.
Very toxic enviroment ,yelling at me, overcharging $92 for 10 tracks, No ATM machine .Walking to look for ATM with mother of owner who is timid and appears emotionally and verbally abused,very unkempt and looks sad.Poor granma. Stuck in a toxic business Daughter has to chill .she is too rough, crude and a cheat..You over charge cash and you take deposits by interac .And have audacity to yell at customers because they did not call to tell you they are coming after they paid you? Of course they are coming..Duh!
I was unfortunately impacted by the Air Canada strike, which required me to reschedule my appointment. I appreciated that the salon was able to accommodate the change and they were understanding and apologetic at the time, assuring me it wouldn’t be an issue. However, when I arrived promptly at 10:00 AM for my rescheduled appointment, I was asked to wait for my stylists—who ended up arriving an hour and a half late. Nothing began until around 11:30 AM. At that point, I explained that I had a time constraint and suggested a different hairstyle to ensure I could still be finished on time. Unfortunately, the stylist capable of doing that particular style wasn’t available yet, and I didn’t want to wait any longer, so I opted for a third choice: medium-sized box braids. Even with that compromise, my hair was not completed on time, which caused me to miss several other appointments I had scheduled after 3 PM. To make matters worse, despite already having paid a deposit for the original appointment, I was charged the full price and was told that the deposit had been applied to the previous day—even though I wasn’t the one who canceled. Overall, I found the experience disappointing. The environment was untidy, unsanitary and the service was unprofessional. The lack of accountability regarding time and payment was unacceptable. I felt taken advantage of for what I had done and would not recommend this salon based on my experience.
FIRST TIME GOING TO THIS PLACE I UNDERSTAND THAT THE PERSON WHO DOES THE SERVICE IS MOTHER AND DAUGHTER SO IT WAS AN OLDER WOMAN WHO HAD DONE MY HAIR SO I KNEW THIS IS THE MOM FIRST TIME WALKING IN THIS LADY WAS NOT FRIENDLY I NEVER FELT WELCOME I DID REGULAR CORNROWS FOR WIG TO MY SURPRISED THIS LADY SPRAYING WATER IN MY HAIR THEN BLOW DRYING IT NO OIL NOTHING SHE CORNROW MY HAIR DRY AS IS NOT EVEN TO TUCK THE BRAIDS UNDER BECAUSE I ALREADY SAID ITS FOR WIG NEXT THING JUST 10 CORNROWS THAT TOOK THE LADY OVER 5 HOURS WAS SO SLOW ME I WILL NEVER GO BACK BAD EXPERIENCE SOME PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW HOW TO IDENTIFY POTENTIAL CUSTOMER ???????
Extremely disappointing service!! Booked an appointment showed up on time, no one was there at the shop,called the number and she made me wait for another half an hour and still no one showed up! Didn't even answer the phone after that,no apologies,no courtesy!! I have never received such terrible service, such disrespect and disregard for people's time and money!!!
By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced! I booked an appointment for my son, he arrived on time and Junie just started on someone else. Telling my son he had to sit and wait. Why should he wait when we booked an appointment?? Her response was, even at a doctor's office people have to wait for the previous person to finish. Why not schedule your clients accordingly and run a business properly and treat people with respect?!!! Rude and very unprofessional!! Awful
I had a horrible experience. I made an appointment and sent my deposit, but when I showed up, they didn’t even know I was coming. I had to wait 30 minutes for someone to come in to do my hair. My stylist was very unhygienic, I had to ask her to remove someone else’s hair from the blow dryer comb, and she put the comb she parted my hair with in HER hair! She also talked super loud in my ear while I was on the phone with my mother and I couldn’t hear her nor could she hear me. Just unprofessional. This salon also does not have a hair stand for braiding and will request you hold the hair which I think is crazy. The style (French curl) turned out good, but they are unraveling! I paid $280 for terrible customer service and unraveling braids. Just a ridiculous experience overall and I will never be returning.
