My sister and I have been going to Lilac for the last 4 years and love this cute little hair studio. They are so friendly and always ready to take you in for a trim, colour or styling. Heshu featured in this photo is the absolute best and I usually just let her do her thing.
Hi Layla! Unfortunately I can’t reply to you from my own account, but I’ll reply from a friend’s account! I read your reply and I’m honestly disappointed. You say you “don’t agree with all the statements” in my review – but everything I wrote is true. I trusted you when you said you could achieve the hairstyle I showed you. Instead, I left the salon with completely ruined hair – it was patchy, multi-colored, and looked nothing like the reference photo. You dyed my hair twice in one day, which severely damaged it. I made it clear that I didn’t want to pay for this result. You also claimed that we had contacted you by email and that you “respected my request to keep this confidential”. This is not true. No one contacted me. I was the one who emailed you asking for a full refund. I have not received a response to this email since. I was forced to pay because I could not leave the salon unless I paid. I made it clear that I did not want to pay for a service that was so poorly done. This is not professional behavior - this is pressure. And to be clear, I am attaching a photo of what my hair looked like when I left your salon - it was completely uneven, patchy and split. My hair is now full of damaged and split ends. I am also attaching a photo of the hairstyle I originally requested - what did I expect for my money. Instead of admitting your mistake or offering any solution, you dismissed my concerns, showed no concern for it, and threatened to call the police. Is this how you treat a paying customer? I paid $395.50 for this. All I wanted was honesty, professionalism, and the haircut I requested—or at least respect when something clearly went wrong. Instead, I got hurt, humiliation, and no accountability. If you're going to respond, please be honest. Don't pretend this was handled properly—it wasn't. Erika
It was a terrible experience and I truly regret trusting this salon – especially the hairdresser named Layla. I showed her pictures and asked her several times if she could do it exactly, but she said yes without hesitation. When she first finished, my hair was yellow – not at all like I asked for it. I told her I hated it. She “fixed” it by dyeing the roots, which I never wanted! I only agreed because I didn’t want my hair to stay yellow. It’s not yellow anymore, but my hair is at least 20 different colors. It’s patchy, patchy, and still NOTHING like the photo I showed her. When I told her I didn’t want to pay for it, she was rude and dismissive. She didn’t offer a discount, a refund, or even a real apology. It was just attitude. Call the police! I paid for it, I didn’t want a free hair dye!! I just wanted what I asked for, for my money. If he told me in my first question that he couldn't do it yet, or that it would be like that, I wouldn't choose him. He confidently said he could do it!!! He's not a hairdresser! A real hairdresser with a high standard of his work wouldn't do that, you can't let a customer go without being satisfied!!! No one should ever go here and not ask for a service!! I trusted him. I believed he knew what he was doing - and he still had the heart to leave it at that. No care, no accountability. I paid $400 for this disaster. And the worst part? My daughter's graduation is next week, and now I have to show up like this. I feel humiliated, heartbroken, and angry. If you care about your hair or how you are treated, stay away from Layla – and honestly, avoid this salon.
My mom and I had our haircut done by Heshw. We were quite happy with the result and will definitely come back. My mom also had her hair colored and she is very satisfied with the color choice which Heshw helped her pick. I had my previous haircuts done by Lilac herself in the past couple of years, and I've always been pleased with the outcome.
This is the best salon I've ever visited; they are extremely professional and provide excellent service; they are also extremely friendly and courteous. I had a keratin treatment and haircut there, and it was really good. They did a pretty professional job, and I really liked it. I will definitely go back there, and I started using their karetin shampoo, which is really good for my hair and made it really healthy. I really appreciate their work.
My husband got haircut from Lila . The back and sides where she used clippers look neat , but the top look so bad and uneven , especially front layer is much shorter .I don’t know why it gone wrong , she doesn’t look like newbie
Had a last-minute appointment, and was greeted with a smile! The hair cut was fast, affordable and beautiful. Very happy. Will definitely be going back!
