Absolutely a gem of a place. Was my first time dying my hair again in 8 years and was a little nervous to try a new salon after moving, but I am so glad I chose N15. I got a cut and full non-bleach colour with KOTA, and while problems with my hair sprung up, KOTA’s expertise and professionalism in the end ultimately allowed me to come out with a head of hair that I could not be happier with. Because of my hair texture, it seemed that it was difficult for the colour to be visible on my hair. After the first round of colouring, it was evident that my hair was just stubborn. However, KOTA refused to let my experience be a disappointment. He either offered to not charge me this session and for me to come back another time to fix it, or he could attempt a second round of dying today to try and make the colour more visible. I opted for the second option not knowing that he actually had another client coming in. He ended up simultaneously working on both of us at the same time, even running from the back to the front, and yet, still remained so precise in his work. He also listened attentively to what I wanted, my concerns and offered advice on anything I was unsure about. I could not be more thankful for his patience and kindness. The entire team at N15 is also commendable as when KOTA was evidently busy with his second client, other team members stepped in to lend a hand with my washing, drying and styling. The teamwork was so seamless, I was really impressed and made me feel like I was in good hands. My hair has never looked and felt so beautiful before. Thank you so so much to the N15 team and I’m looking forward to my next visit!
Seiko did my haircut and I loved. I have thick hair and it causes a lot of hairfall due to the heaviness. I asked to have short layered hair and also face framed since I had so much baby hair postpartum and she delivered. I loved running my fingers through my hair as it felt so light and airy. Its been few months now since the haircut and the layers still look great even unstylish. I love it!
Edvia is very enthusiastic, but the haircutting skills were not quite mature yet. My hair ended up being cut unevenly, with different lengths and thickness on both sides. I had to find someone else to fix it. Because it was cut too short, it’s difficult to fully repair, and I will need at least a month for it to grow out before it can be properly reshaped. It’s going to be a tough period for me.
Staff were so sweet and nice but i didn’t get what i wanted i wanted my hair to be blended with the scissors but instead they gave me an undercut which is terrible
Best place for lash extensions!! Been coming here for years since my coworker told me about this place. They always do an amazing job and are so gentle when applying the lashes!! I usually recommend this place to all my friends Used to see Erika who’s a lash queen!! She works more at the Queen st location and so have had them done by Takako who is just as amazing!!
Maruchan san was awesome — super skilled and really friendly. Honestly, I didn’t really know what kind of hairstyle would suit me, but I gave her a rough idea of what I had in mind, and she totally nailed it. Way better than I expected! Thanks for giving me the coolest haircut I’ve ever had. The chill vibe of the place and the drink service were also really nice touches. I’ll definitely be back!
visited your salon today with my daughter, it was her first time outside the clinic in six months. She had been looking forward to this day and had a clear idea for an asymmetrical haircut. While the final result wasn’t quite what she imagined, we appreciated that the stylist tried to fulfill her request. She also wanted to change her hair color, so I kindly asked if we could book an appointment next week, ideally on Tuesday (the only day my daughter can be at home), I was told there were no openings that day. Later, however, I checked your website, and saw that there were available slots, even with the same stylist. We weren’t asking for special treatment. We were polite throughout, I left a tip. But I walked away with the sad feeling that we were quietly dismissed, perhaps because we looked or acted a bit "different". This was a meaningful day for my daughter. And it could have ended with just a bit more kindness.
