The best street meat I have found in Toronto and totally worth going out of your way to grab a sandwhich if you are in the downtown area. It is located on the east side of University, North of Dundas.

I've tried chevapi before in Toronto but the one from Balkan Girl Grill is by far my favourite. The meat sausages inside were seasoned well and had a delicious smoky flavour. The bread and the sauces complimented them perfectly. Besides the food, appreciated the service. The owner was kind and friendly. Definitely recommend this place and will return again.

I had Balkan Grill Grill cater the late night service and brunch for my wedding and it was unbelievably delicious. The ćevapi were such a hit for the late night food and the pjeskavice for brunch were delicious and perfectly cooked. Sandra made the entire process easy and she is so warm and loving. Highly highly recommend this place for any of your food needs !

Very nice and can tell she takes pride in her work. Balkan sausage was really good.. will have to try the chevapi next time! Thanks again - some concrete pump operator

Love, love, loooove this place, food is delicious, owner is super lovely, its clean and atmosphere is excellent . There is always jezz playing in the background , this spot is my weekly go to for lunch and sometimes diner

Run there. It's that good. $16.50 gets you the best sandwich on hospital row, possibly even all of uni-rose. Chevapi is juicy, bouncy, but not heavy. Lepinja is fluffy, but also crispy from the char and the touch of love Sandra puts in. Topped with creamy kajmak , and ajvar with onions and optionally tomatoes Don't sleep on this sandwich. Run there. Stop reading. Go. What are you waiting for She has ubereats, but... order direct. Cut out the middleman..

I had never heard of Balkan food before trying this place. Was just walking by and feeling hungry....boy, am I grateful I found this place! The owner (& grill queen) was so friendly and helpful! She said the chevapi was heaven, and IT WAS!!! So fresh and delicious; will definitely eat there again. If you're reading this, don't hesitate, just eat it!!! It's everything she said it would be, and more!!!! Just writing this makes me hungry for another one. The only reason I gave it 3 stars for atmosphere is because I wish it was a sit-down restaurant. Amazing food!!!!
