A nice selection of dogs and condiments. I've tried them all and haven't been disappointed at all, they're quite tasty. Everyone I encountered there was very nice and friendly, but Sarah is their shining star!!! Her customer service is second to none. Truly a pleasant experience.
I absolutely love visiting this hotdog stand on Sundays, when Sarah is there! Her hotdogs are hands down the best, made with love and passion that truly sets them apart. The warm and welcoming atmosphere she creates is unbeatable, making every visit a delightful experience. While there are a variety of people working at the stand, I always make sure to go on Sundays when I know Sarah is there. Her exceptional service and dedication to her customers deserve a 10-star rating! If you haven't tried her hotdogs yet, you're missing out on a fantastic treat. Highly recommended for a delicious and heartwarming experience! Thank you Sarah, for your exceptional customer service!
I like the fact that this place is open 24/7 when I walk by day or night. This store has motivated to continue persevering with issues that I am struggling with atm which is weird. Just the fact that this store runs in warm weather, cold weather, rain or shine makes a difference. The people that run the place rotate so I did not feel bad for the person working there all day. Hot dog costs $3.50 and they take cash only. The downside is a small weight with waiting, and bun may not be fully toasted.
I drove from Etobicoke just to grab a spicy sausage at 1am. Why? Cause this location is good. Pros: toasts bun perfectly Gives you 2 napkins instead of one Has all the condiments including bacon bits and corn relish and honey mustard Cons: a little slow but worth the wait
This is a Toronto style hot dog stand. You will see many of these around in the summer time. There is a small selection of hot dogs and sausages as well as toppings. From time to time I get a hankering for some 'street meat' as the locals say and so this is my local stand. Notes - Toronto Public Health mandates the Hot Dogs must be kept cooked and held in hot water above 74 degrees before they are put on the grill for serving - so the chance of getting sick from under cooked meat is highly unlikely. As these stands are outside, and not connected to a high speed internet connected debit machine you should expect that they will only take cash. It is also likely these stands will not accept $50 or $100 bills nor will they accept payment entirely in nickles and dimes.
Horrible experience. They take cash only. As i don't carry a lot of cash, i had a dollar worth of dimes. The salesperson was very unhappy and said the owner told her not to accept small change, but she finally accepted it. However the sausage was bright red and completely raw inside. i wanted to return it after having one bite. The lady was trying to convince me that it can't be raw, but refused to look at it to make sure. She finally returned me the money saying "take your change back"and cursing. Like we're not living in a civilized society. I get that when customers return something it's not very pleasant, but refusing to understand that selling raw meat is dangerous for people's health was really what got me. i could get infected with e coli or something, and than their little stand would be in a lot of trouble. But who cares, returning 5 bucks is such a big deal!
This is a Toronto style hotdog stand. Hot dogs, sausages, veggie dogs, all freshly grilled to order. Wide selection of condiments and toppings. Pleasant proprietor.
