They don’t speaking English, NOT TARGETING THE LOCAL. The place feels quite crowded, and the bright red interior design was a bit overwhelming and outdated to me. The atmosphere was also very noisy, which made it uncomfortable to stay for long. In the past, I still came here because I liked the flavor — it used to be light and pleasant. But this time, the taste has completely changed. I ordered mild, but it was extremely salty and oily. It seems the flavors are no longer adjusted for local tastes. Also, the next day I noticed a strong meaty smell in my urine, which makes me wonder if some kind of artificial broth or seasoning was used — really unpleasant. The staff service was fine, but overall, it feels like the restaurant isn’t trying to appeal to local customers anymore, both in terms of flavor and communication.
We’ve always walked by this place, but this time we decided to give it a try. they don’t have as many ingredients as other places when doing the build your own hot pot bowl, but the soup base and flavouring was pretty good. We also got their skewers which we liked. we will definitely come back
Less selections than Vaughan location. Rude customer service. Our group came and the staff rudely said that there will be 15% tips charge to the bill, didn't even do anything! Not even moving the table. Boh workers looks like that they don't even want to work there. What kind of place asking for tips while not doing any work! There is minimum weight and meat not even included. The competitor just opened across the street with tons of selections, wayyy better customer service than this place and no minimum. Let's see how long this place can last.
Grabbed dinner here with my friends after studying at Peachy. It’s one of those spots we’ve walked past so many times but never tried and finally decided to give it a go! We got their Malatang (hot pot with ingredients priced by weight), which starts at a minimum of 400g. They didn’t have as many ingredient options as some other places, but they do have a full menu of skewers and drinks. We each picked different broths and shared some lamb, beef, and sausage skewers. I thought the skewers were nicely seasoned, but one of my friends felt the flavor was a bit too light. For broth, I chose the chicken & fish combo, while my friends went with tomato and spicy dry mix. I usually go for spicy, but wanted to try something different and I actually liked it! My friends said my soup tasted like straight-up MSG, so… you’ll just have to come try it yourself and see what you think
Excellent food. The place is clean and the waiters are always looking out to clean after the tables. The service was good and quick. But the food was the best part of everything, besides they give you this type of cold tea, it’s amazing.. tastes so good.
used to be our daily routine until they increase the price for popcorn chicken to 11dollars. just several dotsnof chicken costs the same as half orderbof korean chicken. and their soup base taste more and more plain
The meat was tender, with a variety of flavors to choose from, moderately spicy, and the overall dining experience was enjoyable and worth recommending to friends or family.
