When I asked why, he simply stated that he has no obligation to take on every person who contacts him. As a fellow legal professional, I fully understand that lawyers have discretion in the matters they choose to accept. However, I expected a more respectful and professional tone during the interaction. Unfortunately, the tone was unexpectedly cold and abrupt. No actual consultation was provided, no direction was offered, and no referral was given to someone who might be better suited. While I appreciate the time, the overall experience felt dismissive and unwelcoming. I hope others receive a more open and courteous approach.
