Worst Chicken Biryani I ever had. I usually get lunch from another Desi place called Touch but somehow thought I’ll give Indian Canteen a try. Thought Biryani is the safest option to try but was wrong. As I said it was the worst Biryani I ever had tasted… it was flavourless…the rice was under cooked, the chicken was half boiled ….. inside chicken meat was still raw (red) and had some blood oozing. Not going to this place ever again. Consider the 15 bucks as donations from me.

So I wanted to have papdi chaat since very long I went to this place quantity wise it is good you will get value for your money but the only thing which made my experience worse was the curd they use in papdi chaat it’s way to little and it’s liquidy not the ones which should be used so I had pack it and took it home to modify it with actual curd which I have and then it tasted much better

Tried their Chana Bhatura — the Chana was rather bland, and the bhatura is just fried dough felt more like a beaver tail, just a swirl of Nutella away. Though made fresh to order.

Jaspreet was amazing! Had a great experience at Indian Canteen in Downtown Toronto. The food was delicious and full of authentic flavors. Definitely coming back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Jaspreet is one of the kindest, warmest and most hospitable in this concourse who always has her smiles ready when i come to entertain myself with their varieties of good Indian cuisine. I love that she introduces me different types and love the veggie korma on Thursdays. I will go see her to order again this Thursday after i just bought 2 for takeout today. Love the sauce in everything including the famous butter chicken. Say Hi to Jaspreet and you will be delighted to see her smiles and buy their stuffs! Delicious! UPDATE: Today is Thursday and i hurriedly rushed to buy my favorite veggie korma and thanks to Jaspreet again for reserving some good items for me at the last minute. Her boss, the cook himself, is equally accommodating and he sure knows how to cook authentic food with the flavor so mesmerizing. Love the food :) Come try for yourselves!!

As you exit King Subway Station head towards BAC thru the underground, it’s in the first food court you enter. The curry lamb was mildly spicy and delicious. There’s plenty of seating in the food court.

The food and service are always amazing! Even after I'm done eating, I go to town with the naun bread and dip it in the butter chicken sauce and curry lamb sauce untie my plate is clean!
