A godsend for parents on parental leave. Lots of space for climbers as well as stations for kids who would rather build. Recommended for tots who can at least walk and climb; younger infants may not have as much to do. Very safe, organized, clean and with free coffee. Groovy playlist for parents who are sick of Baby Shark on repeat. First timers are free on Fridays! Lots of food and cafe options nearby. Parking may be difficult to find on Queen.
I want to be able to rate this place well but can’t for a simple reason: it is UNREASONABLY expensive. CONS: 20 something dollars for a day pass that a child might only use for 30 mins. It’s crazy. It’s more than double the price of nearby places. If the cost was steep ( say, 15 dollars - pretty expensive but not extortionate - I would go a couple times a month. But their super high price means I’ve only been there once. Also - additional fee for an additional adult - just why Feels so greedy. PROS It’s a shame because the rest of the thing are pretty positive - stair free access - Indoor stroller parking - Large bright clean facilities - activities and play area for range of kids ages - good hours ( including late afternoons!!) - staff are nice. I would really love to support this place but their pricing is just not worth it. Sure there are multi packs butit honestly not much better Lower the price and I’d be there all the time. But I feel like I’m getting ripped off and it makes me not go
Overall is okay The staff are super friendly The space is a bit small and the equipments are old and limited. But most importantly, my baby had a good time
Unimpressed by management. We bought a set of passes that we were unable to use due to a life event (a newborn - which you’d think they would be sensitive to) and they were not willing to give us an extension. Working with community members who support your business should be an integral part of your ethos. We won’t be returning.
I spied a sandwich shop at Gerrard and Jones, while driving. There is a paucity of parking in the area, but, Sunday provided available parking at "All About Kids" on the south side of Gerrard. My visit included a visit to the washroom - it was up 22 stairs - the facility was cheerfully kitted out in a pleasing kingfisher blue and blonded wood scheme. It was squeaky clean, everywhere! The chalkboard menu was extensive - I opted for a sandwich. I became aware that the café specialises in something that I don't care about, at all. GLUTEN-FREE and DAIRY-FREE, at any rate, I'd used the bathroom so I felt that I had a covenant to purchase something. I scanned the central chalkboard, there were 8 to 10 sandwich offerings, and only 3 offered protein. A prosciutto sandwich, a Skipjack Tuna (why not white Albacore?) and a Basil Melt. This sandwich featured turkey and sprouts and a few other ingredients. Post-Covid-19 pricing was in full effect - $14.⁰⁰. The place had 3 patrons when I ordered, a father and son cohort and me. The sandwich required more than 10 minutes to prepare. It arrived in a die-cut self-closing box (wholesale cost ~ $1. ⁰⁰) and it contained a nicely presented Greek Salad with dressing on the side. The sandwich bread was not toasted, I suspect that it was given only a lick and a promise under a toaster oven. The main star of the offering was turkey - which was a turkey roll(!) and to add insult to injury, there were only 2 gossamer-thin slices of turkey! I was singularly non-plussed. The staff were pleasant, but I will consider this as the 3rd Time, that I've been there: ■ the 1st time ■ the Last time ■ and, the Never Again Time. That particular corner has seen several different food-service businesses come-and-go in the last 6 years. I hope that my review provides some insight.
Drop-in indoor playground with no reservations (just show up and pay at the door and pretty much always has capacity) - great space for when it’s too cold outdoors. Very spacious, safe place for toddlers to roam around and play freely while parents can enjoy some complimentary tea or coffee!
We love Sprouts! My kid always has a blast. Staff are great too. Wanted to particularly shout out Sandy, who handled a delicate matter today with grace and generosity of spirit. Thank you!
